How to Store Items in a Mobile Toilet

Admin September 21, 2026

The storage of items in a mobile toilet can be achieved through the rational use of storage tools and space techniques. Here are the specific methods:

I. Storage Tools for the Main Structure of the Mobile Toilet

  1. Movable Narrow-Gap Toilet Storage Cabinet This type of storage cabinet is specifically designed for narrow spaces, typically with a width ranging from 15 to 30 centimeters. It can be placed snugly in the gap between the toilet and the wall or the sink. Its interior features a layered or drawer-style structure, allowing for the categorized storage of toilet paper, cleaning agents, spare towels, and other small bathroom items. Equipped with universal wheels at the bottom, it can be moved flexibly, facilitating ground cleaning or position adjustments. It is suitable for scenarios with limited space and frequent item retrieval needs.

  2. Mobile Bathroom Storage Rack Primarily made of metal or plastic, these racks often have a multi-layered open structure and can be placed above the toilet, in corners, or behind doors. Their advantage lies in their high utilization of vertical space. The height of the shelves can be adjusted to accommodate items of different sizes, such as toiletries on the top shelf, towels in the middle, and laundry detergent on the bottom. Some models are equipped with wheels for easy movement and cleaning.

II. Storage Techniques for Large Items Such as Washbasins and Foot Buckets

  1. Utilizing the Space Below a Hanging Bathroom Cabinet If the bathroom cabinet is suspended above the ground, a plastic layered storage rack can be installed. Folded washbasins and foot buckets can be placed vertically or stacked to utilize vertical space and reduce the floor area occupied. If items cannot be folded, a combination of a telescopic rod and hooks can be used: fix the telescopic rod on both sides of the cabinet bottom and hang the washbasin with S-shaped hooks to prevent items from directly contacting the ground and breeding bacteria.

  2. Developing Space Behind the Door Install hanging rod clips or adhesive-free hooks behind the bathroom door to hang lightweight items such as folded washbasins, brooms, and mops. If space permits, a behind-the-door storage rack can be paired with it. Its multi-layered design allows for the categorized storage of cleaning tools, keeping the floor tidy and facilitating easy access.

  3. Utilizing the Corner of the Shower Area If the width of the shower area exceeds 80 centimeters, a foot bucket can be placed directly in the corner, utilizing the steam from the shower to keep the bucket dry and prevent mold growth. It is important to choose a non-slip foot bucket and ensure that its height does not interfere with the opening and closing of the shower door.

III. Precautions

  • Moisture-Proof Treatment: Mobile toilets have high humidity levels. Storage tools should be made of waterproof materials (such as PP plastic or stainless steel) or regularly wiped with a dry cloth to prevent mold growth.
  • Load-Bearing Limitations: For suspended storage racks or hooks, confirm the load-bearing capacity of the wall material (such as tiles or glass) to avoid the risk of detachment.
  • Ventilation Requirements: Folded washbasins should be completely dried before storage to prevent odor caused by internal water accumulation.
