Mobile Toilet Stolen

Mobile toilets are indeed subject to theft.

Several cases of mobile toilet theft have occurred in Hefei, Anhui Province. For example, Mr. Jiang reported to the police station that his mobile toilet, which was placed by the roadside, was worth over 5,000 yuan, was brand new and unused, and had been stolen. The police, through inquiries and investigations, eventually found the stolen toilet behind a supermarket. In another case, the Daxing Police Station of the Hefei Public Security Bureau received a report that a mobile toilet placed in a yard had been stolen. After reviewing surveillance footage, the police discovered that an electric tricycle had carried away the mobile toilet. They eventually found it behind a supermarket. It turned out that a woman named Xia, who ran the supermarket, had conspired with two others to commit the theft. Xia claimed that the theft was for the convenience of her 90-year-old mother using the toilet. Additionally, the Hefei police received a report from a citizen that a mobile toilet placed at an intersection had disappeared. Upon reviewing surveillance footage, the police found that three people had secretly transported it away by tricycle at night and placed it in front of their own home. The suspect, Xia, claimed that the theft was due to the inconvenience of many people in her family using the toilet.

Similar incidents have also occurred abroad. In the Gomel region of Belarus, Russia, a group of thieves loaded a mobile toilet next to a bus stop onto a tractor and stole it. During the theft, they even took a man who was using the toilet at the time.

From these cases, it can be seen that although the theft of mobile toilets is relatively uncommon, it does occur. The reasons for stealing mobile toilets vary, with some being for personal household use and others possibly for other improper purposes. This behavior not only causes economic losses to the owners of the mobile toilets but also affects the normal use of public facilities and social order. The police will investigate and solve such theft cases through methods such as reviewing surveillance footage and conducting inquiries to maintain social safety and stability.
