Disassembly of Squat Toilet in Mobile Toilet

Admin October 11, 2026

The disassembly of the squat toilet in a mobile toilet should be carried out step by step according to the structural type. The specific methods are as follows:

I. Disassembly of the Squat Toilet Cover

  1. Squat toilet cover with fixed screws (common in public or older home models):

    • Locate the screws: The screws are usually located on the front or both sides of the edge of the squat toilet. Some are covered by plastic caps, which need to be pried open with a small tool.
    • Unscrew the screws: Use a Phillips screwdriver or a wrench to rotate the screws counterclockwise. Be careful to prevent the screws from falling into the gap of the squat toilet.
    • Separate the cover plate: After all the screws are removed, hold both sides of the cover plate and lift it vertically upwards to complete the separation.
  2. Snap-on squat toilet cover (common in newer home models):

    • Check the snap positions: The snaps are mostly located at the connection between the cover plate and the main body (front or both sides). Some are hidden spring snaps.
    • Unlock the snaps: Press the snap area with both hands and gently pull outwards, or use a small flat-head screwdriver to gently pry open the snap gap to press and unlock.
    • Remove the cover plate: After the snaps are released, slowly lift the cover plate vertically to avoid damaging the ceramic main body due to excessive force.

II. Overall Disassembly of the Squat Toilet

  1. Turn off the water supply: Before disassembly, turn off the inlet valve to prevent accidental water splashing caused by accidentally triggering the flush.
  2. Remove the connectors:
    • Inlet and outlet pipes: Use a pump plier to disassemble the joints. First, use tweezers to hold the screw nut before operating. If the joint is too tight, spray lubricating oil to assist in disassembly.
    • Side bolts: Use a wrench to unscrew the fixed bolts. If the bolts are rusted and difficult to turn, spray a loosening agent.
  3. Remove the squat toilet:
    • Separate the sealing rubber ring: Gently tap the base with a rubber mallet to make the old sealing rubber ring detach from the ground.
    • Lift the squat toilet: Hold the bottom with both hands and lift it slowly to avoid damaging the squat toilet or surrounding facilities.

III. Precautions

  1. Rust prevention treatment: If the screws or bolts are rusted, spray a rust remover before operating.
  2. Alignment during installation: When reinstalling, ensure that the snaps or screw holes are aligned and the sealing rubber ring fits tightly.
  3. Safety protection: Wear gloves throughout the operation to avoid bumps and injuries. Clean up the site promptly after disassembly.

If you are not familiar with the operation, it is recommended to contact a professional for handling to avoid equipment damage or safety hazards due to improper operation.
