Mobile Toilet Squat Installation

Admin October 09, 2026

The installation of squat toilets in mobile toilets requires following specific steps and precautions based on different types and installation scenarios.

I. Installation of Integrated Mobile Toilets For a 1.2-meter single-squat mobile toilet, its design integrates a squat toilet, an exhaust fan, and lighting. Users only need to pull the toilet to the designated location and connect the water and electricity within 10 minutes for immediate use. These toilets typically adopt a modular design, with internal facilities pre-installed, eliminating the need for additional construction. They are suitable for temporary venues or areas without a fixed sewage system.

II. Installation of Stainless Steel Waterless Packaging Squat Toilets These squat toilets come in two installation methods: floor-mounted and in-ground, suitable for mobile toilets in waterless areas, construction sites, or scenic spots:

  1. In-ground Installation: Prior waterproofing treatment is required, and the ground must be level. During installation, secure the steel frame and add rubber pads to prevent damage from direct contact between the squat toilet and the ground. After adjusting the level, fix the stainless steel shell with cement, but avoid direct contact between the shell and cement to prevent corrosion.
  2. Waterproofing and Drainage: Special attention should be paid to the construction of the waterproof layer during in-ground installation to prevent leakage. If it is a waterless packaging design, there is no need to connect to the sewage pipeline, but regular cleaning of the fecal storage tank is required.

III. General Steps for Squat Toilet Installation

  1. Level Adjustment: Before installation, ensure the squat toilet is level and use a spirit level for calibration to prevent water accumulation or poor drainage after use.
  2. Waterproofing Treatment: Install a waterproof rubber ring at the contact point between the squat toilet and the ground to prevent sewage leakage. If the original floor tiles need to be removed, redo the waterproof layer, especially for in-ground installations.
  3. Fixing and Drainage: Fix the squat toilet with cement mortar, ensuring the tail flush (flushing port) is 3 centimeters away from the finished wall for easy maintenance. Water flows into the secondary drainage hole to prevent water accumulation.

IV. Precautions for Removing and Replacing Squat Toilets Whether the floor tiles need to be removed depends on the original installation method of the squat toilet:

  1. Post-tile Installation: If the squat toilet was installed after laying the floor tiles and fixed with adhesive, it can be directly disassembled without removing the tiles.
  2. Embedded Installation: If the squat toilet was installed first and then the tiles were laid, the floor tiles need to be removed and the waterproof layer redone to prevent damage to the original waterproof layer and leakage.

Summary: The installation of squat toilets in mobile toilets requires selecting an appropriate plan based on the toilet type (integrated or split), installation method (floor-mounted or in-ground), and site conditions (presence or absence of a sewage system), and strictly following the steps of waterproofing, level adjustment, and fixing to ensure safe and convenient use.
