Mobile Toilet Sensor Maintenance

Admin September 22, 2026

Mobile toilet sensor maintenance mainly involves troubleshooting and resolving issues with automatic sensor-flushing devices. Common faults and their solutions are as follows:

For mobile toilets equipped with infrared sensor flushers, if there is a problem of no flushing or continuous flushing, first check the power supply. If the sensor flusher is battery-powered, check whether the battery has sufficient charge. Insufficient charge can prevent the sensor device from functioning properly, and simply replacing the battery with a new one can resolve the issue. At the same time, check whether the infrared sensor window is blocked by dirt. Dirt can interfere with the reception and transmission of infrared signals, preventing the sensor device from accurately detecting human signals. Use a clean, soft cloth to wipe the sensor window and remove the dirt, then observe whether the flushing function returns to normal.

If the power supply and sensor window issues have been ruled out, it may be a fault with the control board or solenoid valve. The control board is the core component of the sensor flushing device, responsible for receiving and processing sensor signals and controlling the opening and closing of the solenoid valve. When the control board malfunctions, it may lead to incorrect signal processing, preventing the flushing device from working properly. The solenoid valve is the key component that controls the water flow. If the solenoid valve is damaged, it can result in no flushing or continuous flushing. Since the maintenance of the control board and solenoid valve requires professional knowledge, skills, and corresponding tools, such repairs usually need to be handled by professionals.

For sensor urinals, if there is no sound from the valve head, first check the sensor. Check whether the battery is installed incorrectly. An incorrectly installed battery can prevent the sensor from receiving power normally, and simply installing the battery correctly can resolve the issue. At the same time, check whether the battery is out of charge and replace it with a new one in a timely manner. If the sensor is normal and has sufficient charge, check whether the plug is properly inserted. A loose plug can prevent the sensor from connecting properly to the power supply, affecting its operation.

If there is no response when touching the sensor window, open the battery box and replace the battery. If there is still no response after replacing the battery, the sensor may be broken, and a new sensor needs to be replaced at this time. If the indicator light is visible but there is no water flow, the electronic valve may be broken. A damaged electronic valve can prevent the water from flowing normally, and replacing the electronic valve is required to solve the problem.
