Mobile Toilet Seat Base Plate

Admin September 22, 2026

Common methods for relocating the base plate of a mobile toilet seat include using a toilet offset connector, raising the floor, or converting to a wall-mounted toilet. The appropriate method should be selected based on the relocation distance and construction conditions.

I. Types of Toilet Offset Connectors and Their Applicable Scenarios

  1. Integrated Toilet Offset Connector
Suitable for short-distance relocation (generally not exceeding 200mm), with common relocation distances ranging from 5 to 10 centimeters, and up to 15 centimeters in special cases. It features a compact structure and easy installation, but has limited relocation distance. Exceeding the recommended range may lead to poor drainage.

  2. Oval Flat-Pipe Toilet Offset Connector
Suitable for longer-distance relocation (not exceeding 500mm), with a pipe diameter of approximately 110mm and a height of about 50-60mm. During construction, the pipe should be raised by 5mm for every 100mm of movement to maintain the slope and ensure smooth drainage. This type of offset connector requires high construction precision, and the slope must be calculated strictly to avoid blockages.

II. Solutions for Long-Distance Relocation

If the relocation distance exceeds 500mm, it is recommended to convert to a wall-mounted toilet. By re-laying the drainage pipe inside the wall, a wide range of position adjustments can be achieved, while avoiding the risk of blockages caused by insufficient slope with traditional toilet offset connectors. For wall-mounted toilets, the pipe route should be planned in advance, and it should be ensured that the wall structure allows for notching or pipe embedding.

III. Floor Raising Solution

By building a new floor platform to raise the floor height, the slope requirements for the drainage pipe can be met (generally, a slope of 5% is recommended). This method is suitable for scenarios where space allows and floor height is not a concern, but it will increase the overall height of the bathroom accordingly, requiring adjustments to配套设施 (supporting facilities) such as door frames and threshold stones.

IV. Construction Precautions

  1. Installation Timing: The toilet offset connector should be installed before laying floor tiles to avoid damaging the floor structure later.
  2. Slope Control: Regardless of the relocation method used, it is essential to ensure that the slope of the drainage pipe meets standards to reduce the risk of blockages.
  3. Relocation Distance Limitation: The shorter the relocation distance with a toilet offset connector, the more stable the drainage effect. It is recommended to strictly control the relocation distance and prioritize short-distance solutions.
  4. Standardized Operation: During construction, pipe connection standards should be followed to avoid pipe distortion or loose joints, ensuring the sealing of the drainage system.
