Types of Mobile Toilet Rentals

Admin September 21, 2026

There are various types of mobile toilet rentals, which can be classified into the following categories based on different criteria:

1. Classification by Sewage Treatment Method

  1. Waterless Packaging Type: Uses biodegradable environmental bags to collect waste, requiring no water throughout the process. It is suitable for water-scarce or temporary scenarios (such as construction sites, picnics, outdoor hiking, etc.). Its advantage lies in zero water demand, but the degradable bags need to be replaced regularly, with a daily rental cost of approximately 50 yuan.
  2. Water-flushing Type: Achieves flushing functionality by connecting to a water pipe, providing an experience close to that of a household toilet. It requires a配套 (supporting) septic tank and regular cleaning (such as for shopping mall openings, exhibitions, etc., with a weekly cleaning cost of about 200 yuan). It is suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements and access to a water source.
  3. Water-saving and Environmentally Friendly Type: Utilizes foam coverage or microbial decomposition technology to reduce odors and water consumption, requiring no frequent maintenance. It is suitable for long-term projects in scenic spots and parks. Its core advantages are environmental friendliness and low maintenance costs, but the initial rental cost may be relatively high.

2. Classification by Functional Design

  1. Basic Portable Type: Made of lightweight materials, equipped with basic facilities such as toilets and hand sanitizers, compact and easy to transport, suitable for small outdoor gatherings or temporary construction sites. Its characteristics are low cost and quick deployment, but its functions are relatively simple.
  2. Multi-functional High-quality Type: Features spacious interiors, with additional facilities such as sinks, mirrors, ventilation devices, and even air conditioners. It is suitable for occasions with high experience requirements, such as weddings and music festivals. The rental cost for such toilets is relatively high, but they can significantly enhance user comfort.
  3. Barrier-free Type: Specifically designed for individuals with mobility impairments, equipped with handrails, non-slip floors, and wheelchair access space, meeting public event accessibility standards. It is commonly found in government events and large-scale exhibitions that need to accommodate the needs of special groups.

3. Classification by Handling Method

  1. Lifting Type: Transported as a whole using forklifts or cranes, suitable for small-scale events (such as 2-4 toilet compartments), with flexible deployment but requiring professional equipment support.
  2. Trailer Type: Designed with wheels, it can be towed by trucks. A single module can accommodate up to 10 toilet compartments, suitable for large-scale events such as music festivals and sports events, with high transportation efficiency.

4. Classification by Applicable Scenario

  1. Construction Site Special Type: Designed for construction scenarios, such as standard flushing systems or microbial treatment technologies, without the need to connect to sewage pipes, adapting to harsh environments.
  2. Emergency Type: Quickly deployed in natural disasters or emergencies, adopting a modular design to maintain sanitation order in disaster areas in the short term.
  3. Long-term Project Type: Provides stable sanitation facilities for field investigations, long-term construction, and other scenarios, usually combining water-saving and environmentally friendly technologies to reduce long-term operating costs.

When renting, it is necessary to comprehensively evaluate factors such as the number of users, site conditions, and project duration, and sign a standardized contract to clarify the scope of services (such as cleaning frequency, damage compensation, etc.).
