Mobile Toilet Rental Invoice

Admin September 21, 2026

For mobile toilet rentals, a Value-Added Tax (VAT) special invoice or a regular invoice can be issued, with specific charging rules, procedures, and precautions determined based on the rental quantity, region, and contractual agreements.

Invoice Types and Charging Rules

The invoice types for mobile toilet rentals are divided into VAT special invoices and regular invoices. The basic rental fee typically includes equipment rental, transportation, and installation services, with the charging standard possibly adjusted based on the invoice type when issuing invoices.

  • Daily or hourly billing: When issuing a regular VAT invoice, the fee generally includes taxes; if a VAT special invoice is required, additional taxes may be charged (e.g., a 6% surcharge may apply in Hunan, subject to the actual tax rate).
  • Quantity discounts: When renting more than 10 units, some merchants offer invoice fee reductions or discounts; when renting more than 20 units, the basic fee may directly include invoice taxes.
  • Invoice costs: When cooperating with a regular company, taxes are usually included in the quoted price; individuals or small-scale enterprises renting may need to pay additional taxes, but the invoice issuance itself is generally not charged separately.

Special Scenarios and Regional Differences

  • Special service fees: Additional services such as nighttime transportation or emergency additions may incur fees, which should be clearly specified in the contract as to whether they are included in the invoice amount.
  • Regional price differences:
    • In Hunan, the daily rental fee ranges from 200 to 500 yuan per unit (adjusted based on toilet type and configuration);
    • In Jingdezhen, regular mobile toilets cost 100 to 200 yuan per day, while luxury models cost 200 to 300 yuan per day;
    • The Shijiazhuang Lingshou Expressway Service Area supports issuing formal VAT special invoices, with clear invoice contents corresponding to rental details.

Invoice Issuance Procedures and Precautions

  • Procedures: Confirm requirements → Sign a contract → Pay the rental fee → Apply for invoice issuance after the rental period ends. Accurate taxpayer identification numbers, company names, and other information must be provided to avoid invalid invoices due to incorrect information.
  • Settlement methods: Short-term events (1-3 days) are billed daily, while long-term projects (over 1 month) can be settled monthly through negotiation; customized mobile toilets require clear invoice details.
  • Rights protection: It is advisable to clarify the invoice type, tax payer, and contractual details with the rental party in advance to ensure transparent fees and clear rights.
