Mobile Toilet Production Process

Admin October 11, 2026

The production process of mobile toilets is mainly divided into two modes: factory standardized production and handmade DIY production. The specific processes are as follows:

I. Factory Standardized Production Process

Factory production focuses on modularity, environmental protection, and durability, making it suitable for large-scale scenarios such as tourist attractions and construction sites. The process is divided into four stages:

  1. Structural Design: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to plan the toilet's dimensions, internal layout, and load-bearing structure. For example, determine whether to use a single toilet stall or multiple stalls based on the usage scenario, and design key positions such as ventilation ducts and sewage outlets to ensure structural stability and functional rationality.
  2. Material Processing: Select processing methods based on material properties. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is injection-molded to form wall panels, floor panels, and other components; stainless steel or metal embossed panels require cutting and welding; plastic accessories (such as water tanks and pipes) are produced through mold injection. Material selection should consider light weight, corrosion resistance, and environmental friendliness.
  3. Modular Assembly: Assemble prefabricated components into a complete structure. First, install the floor panel and secure the wall panels, then connect the roof panel to form an enclosed space. Next, install internal facilities, including toilets, sinks, and flushing systems. Finally, conduct waterproof testing (such as simulated rain to check for leaks), electrical system inspection (such as testing lighting and ventilation equipment), and appearance quality checks (such as surface flatness and gap sealing).
  4. Environmental Protection Treatment: Adopt water-saving technologies to reduce resource consumption. For example, foam sealing technology covers excrement with foaming liquid to reduce flushing volume; vacuum negative pressure systems use negative pressure for rapid sewage discharge, suitable for scenarios without sewers. The bottom is equipped with a sewage collection tank, which is regularly pumped and transported by sewage suction trucks. The ventilation structure maintains air circulation through exhaust fans or natural vents, and some models are also equipped with deodorization devices.

II. Handmade DIY Production Process (Taking the modification of a water storage tank as an example)

Handmade production relies on flexible modification of existing materials, with lower costs but more basic functions, suitable for temporary or low-cost needs. The process is divided into three steps:

  1. Basic Structure Construction: Split a large water storage tank horizontally in the middle, using the lower half as the base and the upper half for modification into a roof or wall. Install universal wheels at the four corners of the base for easy mobility; use wooden strips or metal brackets to increase height, build door frames and wall frames, and cover with plastic soft panels, waterproof cloth, or the top of an inverted water storage tank as the roof.
  2. Functional System Installation:
    • Drainage System: Drill a hole in the bottom of the tank to install a drainage pipe, connect it to the toilet's sewage outlet, and secure it with sealant to prevent leaks. Fix the water tank above the wall and connect it to the toilet's flush valve through pipes.
    • Water Supply System: Set up an independent water storage device (such as a small water tank or bucket), divert water through a three-way valve to a showerhead (for simple showers) and the sink's water inlet pipe. Install a faucet above the sink and seal the interface with glass glue.
    • Sanitary Facilities: Choose between portable or fixed toilets; when fixing, use bolts to connect to the floor panel. The sink can be made of plastic or metal, with a drainage pipe installed at the bottom and connected to the tank's drainage system.
  3. Detail Optimization: Paint the wall surface with waterproof paint to enhance aesthetics and durability; install a door panel and add handles and locks; add lighting equipment (such as LED lights) and vents (such as small exhaust fans) inside to improve the user experience.

Core Differences: Factory production ensures stable quality through standardized processes, suitable for long-term use; handmade production offers strong flexibility but limited functionality and requires regular maintenance.
