Outdoor Degradation of Mobile Toilets
The outdoor degradation function of mobile toilets is primarily achieved through microbial degradation technology, offering advantages such as environmental protection, energy conservation, and pollution-free operation.

I. Core Technology and Device Composition
The core devices of microbial degradation eco-friendly toilets include fermentation degradation tanks, mechanical transmission devices, and electrical PLC constant temperature and humidity control devices. Excrement enters the fermentation degradation tank through the squat toilet and mixes with pre-added microbial strain carriers. The mechanical transmission device accelerates the decomposition process by stirring in both forward and reverse directions, ensuring thorough contact between the excrement and the strains. The electrical PLC constant temperature and humidity control device regulates temperature and humidity to provide an optimal living environment for the microorganisms, ensuring stable operation under different climatic conditions, such as low temperatures. For example, the composite microbial strains equipped in waterless flush-free toilets can continuously operate in 40°C low-temperature environments, breaking through the temperature limitations of traditional toilets.
II. Degradation Principle and Process
Microbial degradation technology decomposes organic matter in excrement into harmless substances such as carbon dioxide and water through the metabolic activities of the strains. The specific process is divided into three steps:
- Mixing Stage: The mechanical transmission device uniformly mixes the excrement with the strain carriers to form a degradable mixture.
- Decomposition Stage: Microorganisms rapidly reproduce under constant temperature and humidity conditions, secreting enzymes to decompose organic matter into small molecular substances.
- Discharge Stage: Gases produced during decomposition, such as carbon dioxide, are expelled through exhaust pipes and fans, while solid residues are further degraded into harmless powders, eliminating the need for manual removal.
III. Technological Advantages and Application Value
This technology achieves the goals of "zero water flushing, no manual removal, and pollution-free operation," offering significant environmental benefits:
- Water and Energy Conservation: No water resources are required, making it suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary event venues.
- Pollution-Free Discharge: Decomposition products are gases and a small amount of harmless solids, avoiding the sewage discharge problems associated with traditional toilets.
- Strong Adaptability: The constant temperature and humidity control device enables the toilet to operate normally within a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C, covering the vast majority of regions.
- Easy Maintenance: The reasonable capacity design of the degradation tank reduces the frequency of removal and lowers operational costs.
Currently, microbial degradation technology has been widely applied in outdoor scenic spots, temporary construction sites, disaster relief scenarios, and other settings, becoming one of the mainstream solutions in the field of eco-friendly toilets.
