Steps for Connecting to Home Wi-Fi Network

1. Optimize Router Placement

   • Place the router in a central, open, and elevated location in the house (it is recommended to place it 1-1.2 meters above the ground), away from metal objects, fish tanks, and microwave ovens that may interfere with the signal.
   • Adjust the orientation of the external antennas: If the router has two antennas, usually placing one vertically and the other horizontally can enhance signal coverage in different directions.

Enter the IP address marked on the label at the bottom of the router in the browser (e.g., 192.XXX.XXX.XXX), log in, and follow the setup wizard to configure the Internet access method (e.g., PPPoE requires entering the broadband account and password) and wireless settings (it is recommended to select the wpa-psk/wpa2-psk security option and set a password).
     • Wireless Setup: Power on the router and restore it to factory mode. By default, it will emit an unencrypted Wi-Fi signal (the name is usually the router model). Connect to it directly, enter the IP address in the browser to log in, and the subsequent operations are the same as those in the wired setup.

Steps for Connecting to Public Networks (such as China Mobile CMCC)

1. Turn on the WLAN of the mobile device, click on the "CMCC" network, and wait for the system to automatically verify and pass the IP address.
2. After CMCC shows "Connected", pull down the notification bar of the mobile phone and click the "Login" button. The system will automatically open the login page in the mobile phone browser.
3. Enter the user account and password (you need to have activated the CMCC service in advance). After verification, you can use the network normally.

Solutions for Poor Mobile Network Signals

If the mobile phone signal in the toilet is weak, it may be due to insufficient coverage of outdoor base stations or poor penetration of indoor walls. You can try the following solutions:

• Switch Operators: The base station distributions of different operators may vary. Switch to the network of an operator with a stronger signal.
• Use Signal Repeaters: Install signal repeaters (such as Wi-Fi amplifiers or 4G/5G signal boosters) in the toilet to effectively enhance the signal strength.
