Mobile Toilet Manufacturing Materials

Admin September 24, 2026

The manufacturing materials for mobile toilets mainly include galvanized steel structures, reinforced concrete, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP), polyethylene, and some handmade materials.

I. Common Industrial Manufacturing Materials

  1. Galvanized Steel Structures and Reinforced Concrete
The overall structure of eco-friendly mobile toilets typically employs galvanized steel structures, which are characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance. This effectively extends the lifespan of the toilets while ensuring structural stability. The floor section is reinforced with concrete to further enhance load-bearing capacity, adapting to various usage scenarios.

  2. Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Materials
FRP mobile toilets are relatively common, with their main bodies formed through mold-shaping processes using epoxy resin and glass fibers. This material is lightweight yet strong, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean, and can achieve a colored appearance by adding pigments. Structurally, the colored reinforced FRP base and wall panels are integrally molded, ensuring both airtightness and aesthetic appeal.

  3. Polyethylene Materials
Polyethylene is widely used in mobile toilet manufacturing due to its strong chemical stability and good weather resistance. This material can be processed into lightweight shell structures, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation, and effectively resists environmental factors such as ultraviolet rays and acids/alkalis.

II. Handmade Materials
Some simple mobile toilets are assembled manually, with material selection focusing on flexibility and cost. For example:

  • Water Storage Tanks: As sewage storage containers, corrosion-resistant plastic materials are typically chosen.
  • Wooden Boards and Honeycomb Boards: Used for constructing frames or partitions, providing basic support structures.
  • Casters: Installed at the bottom for mobility, requiring models with matching load-bearing capacities.
  • Sealing Materials: Such as sponge strips, foam strips, and glass glue, used to fill gaps and prevent odor leakage.
  • Plastic Soft Boards: Used as wall or door materials, featuring waterproof and easy-to-clean properties.

III. Material Development Trends
With technological advancements, mobile toilet materials are gradually evolving towards lightweight, eco-friendly, and modular directions. For instance, new composite materials further reduce weight while maintaining strength, facilitating transportation and installation; the application of biodegradable materials reduces environmental impact, aligning with sustainable development principles.
