Mobile Toilet Installation Instructions
Admin October 09, 2026
The installation instructions for a single-structure mobile toilet are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparations
- Site Survey and Planning
Confirm the installation location in advance, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage power lines, and obstacle-filled zones. Ensure the site is dry and meets safety requirements. When measuring site dimensions, ensure the width of the access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve operational space for subsequent installation and maintenance. - Material Inventory and Inspection
Check the quantity, model, and accessories of the mobile toilet (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.). Focus on inspecting the equipment's exterior for any damage, cracks, or deformations, and ensure internal facilities (such as toilets, water tanks, door locks) are intact. - Tool and Personnel Preparation
Equip with basic tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional installers. If the toilet body is heavy, coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes to assist with handling, avoiding damage or personal injury caused by manual handling.
II. On-site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing Operations
After hoisting the toilet body to the designated position, use a spirit level to adjust the equipment's stability, ensuring the horizontal deviation does not exceed 3mm. Fix the equipment with expansion bolts (for hard surfaces) or counterweights (for soft surfaces) to prevent tipping due to wind or external forces. - Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging
Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection tank, ensuring the pipe slope is ≥2% for smooth drainage. When connecting the water supply, it is recommended to use a pipe with a diameter ≥DN20. Test the flushing function to ensure it works properly and check the drainage seal to prevent leaks. - Detail Inspection and Cleaning
Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and check that door locks and flush buttons are flexible and functional. Thoroughly clean and disinfect the interior of the toilet, and place consumables such as air fresheners and toilet paper to enhance the user experience.
III. Post-installation Inspection and Handover
- Function Test Checklist
Conduct a flushing test: Press the flush button three times continuously to observe if the drainage is smooth and unobstructed; conduct a load-bearing test: Evenly step on the top of the equipment to check structural stability, ensuring there are no abnormal noises or deformations. - Handover Document Confirmation
Provide the customer with an 'Equipment Installation Acceptance Form', clearly indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage precautions (such as prohibiting the dumping of debris and regular cleaning) to ensure the user understands subsequent maintenance requirements.
IV. Precautions and Safety Regulations
- Installation Safety Requirements
Wear a safety harness during high-altitude operations and prohibit installation in windy conditions with wind speeds ≥5. Smoking or the use of open flame devices is prohibited inside the toilet, and keep away from fire sources to prevent fires. - Construction Site Management
Delineate the construction area and set up warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching. Nighttime construction requires adequate lighting, and install reflective strips on the edges of the equipment to enhance visibility and reduce accident risks.
