Mobile Toilet Floor Leather Laying
Admin October 10, 2026
The laying of floor leather in mobile toilets should be carried out according to standardized procedures, with a focus on handling the area beneath the toilet and paying attention to safety and environmental protection requirements. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Preliminary Preparation
- Floor Treatment
Ensure the floor is flat, dry, and clean, with no cracks or water stains. If there are cracks, use a filler to repair them. Oil stains or water stains should be thoroughly cleaned to avoid affecting the adhesive properties of the glue. - Measurement and Cutting
Use a tape measure or laser distance meter to accurately measure the floor dimensions and mark the cutting lines on the floor leather. It is recommended to reserve an extra 5-10 centimeters of trim for subsequent adjustments. - Tool and Material Preparation
Prepare floor leather, environmentally friendly base adhesive or double-sided tape, trimming knives, rulers, erasers, marking pens, wooden sticks or small scrapers (compaction tools), etc. The amount of floor leather needed should be calculated based on the bathroom area, with an additional 10% purchased as a reserve.
II. Laying Process
- Adhesive Application
Apply an even layer of environmentally friendly base adhesive to the floor and simultaneously apply adhesive to the back of the floor leather. Wait for the adhesive to dry slightly (about 5-10 minutes) before sticking to avoid displacement caused by overly wet adhesive. - Handling Beneath the Toilet
- First, lay the floor leather up to the side of the toilet and flatten it, avoiding the toilet position.
- Cut out a piece of floor leather that matches the shape beneath the toilet and place it in the toilet base. Flatten it with a rolling pin to ensure seamless integration with the surrounding floor leather.
- Key Point: The edges of the toilet should be reinforced with adhesive to prevent detachment after long-term use.
- Trimming and Edge Finishing
After sticking, use a ruler to mark the excess parts and cut along the marked lines with a trimming knife, clearing away debris. The trim should be smoothed to avoid sharp edges that could cause scratches. - Compaction and Cleaning
Use a wooden stick or small scraper to fully compact the floor leather, expelling air and ensuring firm adhesion of the adhesive. After completion, clean the surface with a clean mop to keep it dry and tidy.
III. Precautions
- Safety Protection
Before laying, check that the drainage system is unobstructed to avoid glue clogging the pipes; confirm the location of electrical lines to prevent damage during construction. - Selection of Environmentally Friendly Materials
Prioritize the use of low-formaldehyde, odorless environmentally friendly floor leather to reduce pollution of indoor air. - Daily Cleaning and Maintenance
Although floor leather is easy to clean, it should be regularly cleaned to prevent stains from penetrating and affecting its service life. It is recommended to wipe it with a neutral detergent once a week.
