Mobile Toilet Disinfection Plan
Admin September 28, 2026
The mobile toilet disinfection plan mainly includes physical disinfection methods and chemical disinfection methods, as follows:

Physical Disinfection Methods
- High-temperature Disinfection: Use high-temperature steam generated by a steam generator to spray and disinfect the surfaces of the toilet bowl and sink in the mobile toilet. Continuous spraying for a few minutes can effectively kill bacteria and viruses. It is important to control the steam temperature and duration to avoid damaging the facilities. For fecal treatment, if conditions permit, use high-temperature steam to treat feces, ensuring the temperature reaches above 80℃ and is maintained for more than 30 minutes to thoroughly kill pathogens.
- Ultraviolet Disinfection: Install ultraviolet disinfection lamps inside the mobile toilet and turn them on during periods when the toilet is not in use. Ultraviolet light kills microorganisms by destroying their DNA structure. Ultraviolet disinfection is broad-spectrum and can kill a variety of bacteria and viruses. It is important to avoid direct exposure of ultraviolet light to the human body to prevent harm. Use ultraviolet disinfection equipment to irradiate treated feces and equipment surfaces for at least 30 minutes to effectively kill bacteria and viruses.
Chemical Disinfection Methods
- Chlorine-containing Disinfectants: Dilute chlorine-containing disinfectants (such as 84 disinfectant, bleaching powder, sodium hypochlorite, etc.) to a certain ratio and use a sprayer to thoroughly spray the floor, walls, and toilet bowl of the toilet. It is important to pay attention to the dilution ratio and duration of action to avoid corroding the facilities. After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with clean water to prevent residual disinfectant from irritating the human body. Dilute bleaching powder at a ratio of 1:100 - 1:200 and spray, allowing it to act for 30 minutes to 1 hour; for sodium hypochlorite, ensure the effective chlorine content is 500 - 1000mg/l and maintain spraying for 30 minutes.
- Peracetic Acid: Peracetic acid has strong oxidizing properties and can quickly kill various microorganisms. When using it, dilute it to an appropriate concentration for wiping or spraying disinfection. Peracetic acid is corrosive, so wear protective clothing and gloves when using it, avoid direct contact with the skin and eyes, and rinse with clean water after use. Spray with a 0.5% - 1% concentration solution.
- Chlorine Dioxide: Use 5 - 10mg per cubic meter of water, dissolve, and spray for 30 minutes.
- Alcohol Disinfection: For frequently touched parts of the mobile toilet, such as door handles and faucets, use 75% alcohol for wiping disinfection. Alcohol is flammable and explosive, so keep it away from fire sources and high-temperature environments when using it.
- Other Disinfectants: After cleaning, use slightly acidic electrolyzed water or hypochlorous acid disinfectant for atomized disinfection of the toilet stalls to effectively kill Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, ensuring hygiene and safety.
