What Are the Dimensions of Mobile Toilets

Admin October 10, 2026

The dimensions of mobile toilets vary depending on their type and functional requirements. Common specifications are as follows:

Single-compartment mobile toilets have relatively compact dimensions, with lengths typically ranging from 1.1 to 1.5 meters, widths from 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and heights starting at 2.2 meters, with some specifications reaching up to 2.5 meters. This design is suitable for space-constrained scenarios such as construction sites and small events, with its core advantages being flexibility and low cost.

Double-compartment mobile toilets have significantly larger dimensions, with lengths extending from 2.4 to 3.0 meters, widths from 1.2 to 1.5 meters, and heights maintained between 2.2 and 2.5 meters. These specifications are commonly found at large events or tourist attractions, enhancing usage efficiency by increasing the number of toilet compartments while maintaining overall structural stability.

Multi-functional mobile toilets have further upgraded dimensions, with lengths reaching from 3.0 to 4.5 meters, widths from 2.0 to 2.5 meters, and heights increased to between 2.5 and 3.0 meters. This design is targeted at high-end events or long-term fixed locations, potentially integrating additional features such as sinks and makeup mirrors, requiring larger spaces to ensure user comfort.

Multi-compartment combination specifications exhibit diverse characteristics: two-compartment units have lengths ranging from 2.4 to 3.0 meters and widths maintained between 1.0 and 1.2 meters; container-type mobile public toilets can exceed 6 meters in length and have widths of over 2.5 meters, internally configurable with multiple male and female toilet compartments, accessible toilet compartments, and management rooms. Some special models even reach a length of 6.8 meters for double occupancy, suitable for high-traffic public areas.

The dimensions of internal functional areas must meet ergonomic standards: the clear width of the toilet area should not be less than 0.85 meters, with an ideal range of 0.9 to 1.0 meters; the clear depth should be guaranteed to be between 1.2 and 1.5 meters; and the door width should be no less than 0.6 meters. Accessible toilet compartments have higher requirements, with an internal clear width of at least 1.5 meters and a clear depth of over 1.8 meters to accommodate wheelchair turning space. These parameters directly relate to the convenience and safety of users and are key indicators for evaluating the rationality of mobile toilet design.
