Chenggong has implemented various measures regarding mobile toilets, including rental services, manufacturer supply, government project support, and the addition of new municipal facilities.
In terms of rental services, Chenggong offers a variety of mobile toilet rental options, such as mobile restrooms, mobile washrooms, mobile public toilets, portable toilets, and temporary toilets. These mobile toilets are suitable for various scenarios, including large-scale events like marathons, concerts, and music festivals, as well as temporary sites like construction sites, meeting the toilet needs of people in different settings.
There are multiple mobile toilet manufacturers in Chenggong, such as Yunnan Xinxing Door Industry Co., Ltd. and Kunming Yameng Technology Co., Ltd. These manufacturers provide mobile toilet products of different models and prices, ranging from several hundred yuan to several thousand yuan. Consumers can choose according to their own needs and budgets.
The government also plays a crucial role in mobile toilet services. Taking the Kunming City Administration Bureau as an example, it carried out mobile public toilet support work for the 10th South Asia Expo, planning to rent mobile public toilet services with a project amount of 150,000 yuan. It has clear requirements for the service-providing enterprises, including that the mobile public toilets should be clean and intact in appearance, have no less than 50 toilet stalls, be equipped with squat toilets, washbasins, and other facilities inside, and that the enterprises should promptly remove waste and supply daily consumables to ensure the normal use and hygiene of the mobile public toilets.
In addition, Chenggong District has added new municipal smart mobile toilets. In mid-to-late June 2022, six new mobile toilets were added at six locations, including the intersection of Yuhua Road and Changfeng Road. Each new mobile toilet covers an area of about 35 square meters and is equipped with four squat stalls, one barrier-free restroom, and one management room. Their appearance blends well with the surrounding environment, and the layout is reasonable. They provide free toilet paper, and a display screen can be used to determine whether the toilet is occupied. They are also equipped with automatic感应冲水装置 (automatic sensor-flushing devices) and ventilation fans, enhancing the user experience and hygiene standards. As of June 27, 2022, there were a total of 318 municipal-maintained public toilets in the jurisdiction (including 9 in parks), of which 32 were mobile public toilets.
