How to Disassemble a Mobile Toilet Cabinet
Admin October 07, 2026
The disassembly of a mobile toilet cabinet requires adjustments based on the cabinet type and installation method. The core steps are as follows:

I. Preparation Before Disassembly
- Empty the Cabinet: Remove all items to prevent them from falling or causing the cabinet to tilt due to uneven weight during operation.
- Tool Preparation: Cross/flat-head screwdrivers, adjustable wrench, hammer, crowbar, electric drill (for stubborn screws), utility knife (for cutting sealant), protective gloves, and goggles.
- Environmental Assessment:
- Confirm the cabinet's installation method: For wall-mounted cabinets, focus on checking expansion screws, hanging brackets, or air nail fixes; for floor-standing cabinets, usually only the upper connection parts need to be removed.
- Identify the wall material (gypsum board, brick wall, or concrete wall) to avoid damaging the wall during disassembly.
- Inspect water and electrical lines: Turn off the water supply and power to prevent damage to pipes or electric shock during disassembly.
II. Core Disassembly Steps
- Disconnect Connections:
- If the cabinet is connected to a faucet or power source (such as a mirror cabinet light), first close the angle valve or main water valve, drain the remaining water from the pipes, unscrew the water inlet and outlet pipes, and disconnect the power.
- Use a wrench to remove the filter screen and water pipe under the water bottle.
- Remove Fixings:
- Visible Screws: Directly unscrew them counterclockwise with the corresponding screwdriver or wrench.
- Hidden Screws: Check inside the cabinet top, bottom, side panels, below drawer slides, or behind decorative cover plates, and remove them with a screwdriver.
- Air Nail/Staple Fixings: If no screws are found, first use a utility knife to clean the sealant at the joint between the cabinet and the wall, then gently pry apart with a crowbar.
- Bottom-Screw-Fixed Drawers: Pull out the drawer until the bottom is accessible, unscrew the screws at the front and back ends or on the slide connections, and lift the drawer up to detach it from the slides.
- Separate the Cabinet from the Wall:
- After confirming that all fixing points have been removed, one person holds the cabinet steady while the other gently pulls outward from the bottom or side.
- If the cabinet is tightly connected to the wall, lightly tap around the cabinet with a hammer to loosen it before disassembly.
III. Special Structure Handling
- Pull-Out Drawers:
- Ordinary Slides: Pull out the drawer to its limit, flip up the left slide latch upward and press down the right slide latch downward, then pull the drawer out horizontally with both hands.
- Three-Section Slides: Pull out the drawer to its maximum opening, press the elastic latch on the back middle or end of the slide, and pull apart horizontally at the same time.
IV. Precautions
- Keep the cabinet level during disassembly to prevent the latches from resetting or the slides from being damaged due to tilting.
- Store the removed screws and small parts separately to prevent loss.
- If the cabinet is heavy or has a complex structure (such as an embedded cabinet), it is recommended to work with another person or hire a professional to avoid personal injury or wall damage.
