Mobile Toilet Area Size

Admin October 11, 2026

The area size of mobile toilets varies depending on the type and requirements, typically ranging from 1.2 square meters to over 15 square meters, and can be categorized into three types: single-stall, multi-stall combinations, and special cases.

Single-stall specifications are the most basic type of mobile toilet, suitable for scenarios with low foot traffic. Their external dimensions are usually 1.2 to 1.5 meters in length and 1.0 to 1.2 meters in width, with an area of approximately 1.2 to 1.8 square meters. This specification is designed with compactness in mind, optimizing the internal space layout to meet basic usage needs while minimizing the footprint. For example, some single-stall toilets use folding door designs to further reduce the space occupied when the door is open, enhancing usage flexibility.

Multi-stall combination specifications are designed for scenarios with high foot traffic, achieving capacity expansion through modular assembly. Taking a two-stall unit as an example, its length is usually 2.4 to 3.0 meters, with a width maintained at 1.0 to 1.2 meters, and an area of approximately 2.4 to 3.6 square meters. For larger capacities, a box-type structure can be used, with lengths exceeding 6 meters and widths exceeding 2.5 meters, resulting in an area of over 15 square meters. These toilets have more comprehensive internal functional divisions, possibly including multiple male and female stalls, accessible toilets, and management rooms, meeting the diverse needs of public places. For instance, such designs are commonly used in scenic spots or large event venues, improving usage efficiency through reasonable planning of movement paths.

In special cases, there are prefabricated mobile restrooms with dimensions of 2.5 meters × 6.5 meters. These toilets are usually customized for specific scenarios, with an area of up to 16.25 square meters and richer internal configurations, possibly including independent handwashing areas, storage rooms, and even air conditioning systems. Their design balances functionality and comfort, suitable for scenarios with high hygiene requirements, such as high-end exhibitions or temporary medical stations.

The selection of the area size for mobile toilets requires comprehensive consideration of the usage scenario, foot traffic, and functional requirements. Single-stall toilets are suitable for temporary, low-traffic scenarios; multi-stall combinations offer flexible capacity expansion; and special cases provide customized solutions for specific needs.
