Anticorrosive Wood Materials for Mobile Toilets

Admin October 13, 2026

Common anticorrosive wood materials used in mobile toilets include Scots pine, Southern pine, and Finnish wood. After special anticorrosive treatment, these woods possess properties such as corrosion resistance, insect resistance, and adaptability to outdoor environments, making them ideal materials for the exterior walls and frame structures of mobile toilets.

Core Treatment Process and Performance of Anticorrosive Wood

Anticorrosive wood undergoes a vacuum-pressure impregnation process, where preservatives such as copper azole, ACQ, or CCA are deeply penetrated into the wood cells to form a long-lasting protective layer. This treatment method effectively resists biological erosion from fungi and termites while enhancing the wood's tolerance to humid environments. Tests have shown that the service life of anticorrosive wood in outdoor environments can reach 10-15 years, which is 3-5 times that of ordinary wood. Its physical properties are also significantly improved: after the preservative fills the gaps between wood fibers, it reduces cracking and deformation caused by moisture changes; combined with a bottom steel frame and moisture-proof pad design, it can withstand complex climatic conditions such as large temperature differences and frequent rainfall.

Material Selection and Structural Adaptability

Different anticorrosive wood materials have distinct characteristics: Scots pine has a fine texture and clear grain, making it suitable for exterior wall decorative finishes; Southern pine has high strength and strong nail-holding power, often used in frame structures; Finnish wood, with its excellent stability, is mostly used for load-bearing components in high-end mobile toilets. The frame structure typically combines hot-dip galvanized steel or light steel structures with anticorrosive wood, ensuring overall wind resistance while reducing structural stress through the elastic cushioning of the wood. For example, in coastal areas with strong winds, steel-wood composite frames can effectively disperse wind pressure, preventing wood deformation due to long-term stress.

Process Details and Quality Assurance

High-quality anticorrosive wood mobile toilets focus on detail processing: the wood surface is polished with a four-sided planer to eliminate burrs and improve touch; connectors are made of 304 stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized bolts to prevent structural loosening caused by rust; walls adopt a double-layer anticorrosive wood with insulation cotton design, balancing moisture-proof and heat insulation needs. Some products also apply transparent waterproof paint on the wood surface to further extend service life. These process details ensure that anticorrosive wood mobile toilets maintain a natural and aesthetically pleasing appearance while preserving structural stability and functionality during long-term use.
