Mobile Toilet and Bathroom Construction

Admin September 24, 2026

The construction of mobile toilets and bathrooms should follow a scientific process, covering three core aspects: material preparation, construction steps, and quality inspection. The specific key points are as follows:

I. Material Preparation

Before construction, materials and tools should be precisely prepared according to the design plan. Basic materials include cement, wire mesh, construction adhesive, waterproof coatings, etc., used for wall construction and sealing. Sanitary facilities should be equipped with toilets, water tanks, sinks, faucets, and drainage pipes to ensure complete functionality. Structural materials should choose wood or metal to build supports and prepare non-slip flooring materials. Auxiliary tools include electric drills, saws, etc., used for cutting and fixing operations. If a water storage tank-type mobile toilet is used, additional components such as universal wheels and pallets should also be prepared. The quality of materials directly affects construction safety and service life, so it is necessary to strictly check certificates and performance parameters.

II. Construction Steps

  1. Site Preparation: Clear debris from the construction area ground to ensure it is flat and free of potholes, providing a stable foundation for support construction.
  2. Structural Construction:
    • Support Installation: Use wood or metal materials to build a framework, focusing on reinforcing load-bearing nodes to prevent deformation later.
    • Walls and Roof: Use wire mesh as the skeleton and apply cement to form walls. The roof should be covered with waterproof membranes or color-coated steel sheets, with a slope designed for drainage.
  3. Facility Installation:
    • Sanitary Equipment: Fix toilets, water tanks, and sinks. Apply sealant when connecting drainage pipes to prevent leakage; pressure test the water supply pipes.
    • Doors, Windows, and Flooring: Install translucent glass or louvered windows to ensure ventilation. Lay non-slip tiles or PVC flooring, filling joints with waterproof adhesive.
  4. Sealing Treatment: Apply waterproof coatings multiple times at the connections between walls and the ground, as well as pipes. Seal door and window frames with adhesive to ensure overall moisture resistance.

III. Quality Inspection

  1. Structural Safety: Check whether the welding points or bolt connections of the supports are secure, whether the cement strength of the walls meets standards, and perform a light push test to ensure no shaking.
  2. Waterproof Performance: Conduct a 24-hour closed water test on the roof, walls, and ground to observe for any signs of leakage.
  3. Equipment Operation: Test the toilet flushing, faucet water flow, and drainage speed with water. Check whether the water tank level control is sensitive.
  4. User Experience: Verify ventilation effectiveness (can be tested with smoke) and lighting brightness. The floor's non-slip performance should meet standards (friction coefficient ≥ 0.5).

The entire construction process should comply with the 'Code for Design of Building Water Supply and Drainage' and local health standards, focusing on controlling waterproofing and structural stability to ensure the mobile toilet and bathroom are safe, durable, and fully functional.
