Mobile Stall Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

A mobile stall toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a movable facility designed to meet the toilet needs of temporary or fixed locations, suitable for scenarios such as night market stalls.

I. Applicable Scenarios Mobile toilets have a wide range of applications, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. In the context of night market stalls, mobile toilets can effectively solve the toilet problems faced by stall owners and customers. For example, in the night market of Chongzhou, Sichuan, there was a case where an old man set up a stall with a "mobile toilet" to provide convenient sanitary facilities around the stalls.

II. Structural Composition Mobile toilets are typically composed of fecal sewage storage tanks (or disposal devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. Their core functional modules include:

  1. Fecal treatment system: Depending on the sewage treatment method, it can be divided into flush-type, non-flush suction-type, circulating flush-type, and dry-packing-type. For example, the dry-packing-type mobile toilet collects feces using biodegradable materials, requiring no water source, making it suitable for water-scarce environments; the circulating flush-type achieves water reuse through a filtration system, reducing water consumption.
  2. Mobile device: According to the moving method, it can be divided into lifting and handling type, power towing type, etc. The lifting type relies on lifting equipment for handling and is suitable for long-term use at fixed locations; the power towing type can be towed by vehicles and is flexibly deployed at temporary event sites.
  3. Basic structure: The walls and roofs are made of lightweight materials (such as color-coated steel plates, fiberglass reinforced plastics), reducing weight while ensuring structural strength for easy transportation; the floor slabs need to be slip-resistant and easy to clean to ensure safety during use.

III. Type Classification

  1. By structural form: Divided into single-unit structures (independent units suitable for small-scale needs) and composite structures (multiple units combined, expandable into large public toilets).
  2. By moving method: The lifting type relies on external machinery for handling; the power type is equipped with an engine or motor for autonomous movement; the towing type needs to be connected to a vehicle for towing.
  3. By sewage treatment method: The flush-type needs to be connected to the municipal sewage network or equipped with a water storage tank; the non-flush type treats feces through chemical agents or physical methods; the dry-packing-type directly encapsulates excreta for regular removal.

IV. Core Advantages Mobile toilets are movable, combinable, and easy to transport, enabling a rapid response to temporary needs and avoiding the long construction period and high cost of traditional toilets. Their modular design supports functional expansion (such as adding barrier-free facilities and baby care rooms) and can be reused, reducing long-term operating costs. Prices in the market vary greatly depending on the style, material, and function, ranging from simple types costing tens of yuan to intelligent types costing thousands of yuan, allowing users to choose according to their actual needs.
