Mobile Smart Toilet Architecture Design

Admin September 20, 2026

The architecture design of mobile smart toilets mainly includes two typical solutions: the five-layer technology system of Zhongqi Technology's smart public toilets and the four-layer architecture of general-purpose smart public toilets.

Five-Layer Technology System of Zhongqi Technology's Smart Public Toilets

  • Perception Layer: Deploy a multi-dimensional sensing network, including laser/millimeter-wave toilet stall sensors with sub-millimeter detection accuracy for precise perception of toilet stall status; a five-in-one environmental monitor that can collect data on temperature, humidity, PM2.5, TVOC, ammonia, and hydrogen sulfide; and a binocular passenger flow monitor for counting personnel movement. Through these sensors, precise collection of data on toilet stall status, environmental quality, and personnel movement is achieved.
  • Execution Layer: Integrate intelligent device control modules, such as automatic deodorization and sterilization equipment, smart water meters, etc. These devices can trigger联动 (linked) operations based on the data collected by the perception layer. For example, when the environmental monitor detects excessive odor, the automatic deodorization and sterilization equipment starts working.
  • Network Layer: Adopt IoT communication technology to achieve interconnection and intercommunication between devices, ensuring stable and efficient data transmission.
  • Platform Layer: Build a data management hub to store, analyze, and process various types of collected data, providing data support for subsequent applications.
  • Application Layer: Provide intelligent services such as toilet stall navigation, environmental warnings, and passenger flow statistics to help managers optimize management decisions and enhance the user experience and management efficiency of public toilets.

Four-Layer Architecture of General-Purpose Smart Public Toilets

  • Perception Layer: Mainly cover the deployment of sensors in scenarios such as environmental monitoring, device status, and energy consumption to comprehensively perceive various information within public toilets.
  • Transmission Layer: Transmit the data collected by the perception layer to the platform layer through wired or wireless communication technologies to ensure timely data delivery.
  • Platform Layer: Integrate big data and cloud computing technologies to build a data storage and analysis platform for efficient processing and analysis of massive amounts of data.
  • Application Layer: Provide core functions such as device control, data management, and convenience services to support the full-lifecycle operation and maintenance management of public toilets and achieve intelligent operation of public toilets.

Both architectures use IoT technology to achieve device interconnection and data-driven operation and maintenance. The Zhongqi Technology solution has more refined deployment in the perception layer and adds an execution layer to strengthen device linkage, while the general-purpose architecture focuses more on the integration of the platform layer and the application layer. In practical applications, appropriate solutions can be selected according to scenario requirements.
