Mobile Sanitary Toilet Renovation

Admin September 24, 2026

The renovation of mobile sanitary toilets requires a comprehensive consideration of facility types, material selection, structural optimization, and sewage treatment methods to enhance usability and comfort.

1. Clarify Renovation Scenarios and Requirements

Mobile toilets in public places such as scenic spots and parks need to balance practicality and aesthetics. For example, a modular design with a width of 3 meters, a length of 6 meters, and an area of 18 square meters can be flexibly arranged in different areas. Before renovation, it is necessary to evaluate foot traffic, usage frequency, and space constraints to determine whether additional toilet stalls are needed or if the layout should be adjusted.

2. Optimize Material and Structural Design

  1. Exterior Wall Materials: Using metal insulated carved panels can improve thermal insulation performance, while enhancing slip resistance and visual effects through stone-like or aluminum patterned designs, balancing safety and aesthetics.
  2. Interior Configuration: Choose between squat or sit toilets based on needs, and equip them with details such as handrails and odor-proof floor drains. It is recommended to use slip-resistant floor tiles or aluminum patterned panels for the floor to reduce the risk of slipping.
  3. Door and Window Systems: Installing single-opening colored aluminum glass doors can improve lighting and ventilation efficiency while ensuring privacy; in some scenarios, exhaust fans or fresh air systems can be added to improve air quality.

3. Select Appropriate Toilet Types

  1. By Structural Form:
    • Single-unit mobile toilets: Suitable for limited space or temporary scenarios, such as construction sites.
    • Composite-structure mobile toilets: Composed of multiple modules, they can be expanded into multiple toilet stalls, management rooms, or barrier-free facilities, suitable for long-term use in scenic spots.
  2. By Mobility Method:
    • Hoisting and handling types: Rely on mechanical equipment for movement, suitable for adjustments between fixed points.
    • Powered and towed types: Equipped with their own power or towable for movement, suitable for scenarios requiring frequent relocation, such as large events.
  3. By Sewage Treatment Method:
    • Water-flushing type: Requires connection to municipal sewage pipes or equipped with water tanks, with high cleanliness but high water consumption.
    • Waterless suction type: Uses a vacuum pump to suction feces into a storage tank, suitable for water-scarce areas.
    • Recirculating water-flushing type: Uses biodegradation technology to treat sewage and recirculate it for use, environmentally friendly but with higher costs.
    • Dry-packing type: Uses degradable bags to collect feces, requiring no water source, suitable for remote areas.

4. Upgrade Core Components and Functions

During renovation, components such as fecal sewage storage tanks, floor slabs, and sanitary ware can be optimized. For example, using stainless steel storage tanks can extend service life; adding intelligent sensor flushing and lighting systems can enhance user experience; installing solar panels on the roof can power the equipment and reduce energy consumption.
