Mobile Sanitary Toilet

Admin September 23, 2026

A mobile sanitary toilet, also known as a mobile toilet, is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide public toilet services. The following is an introduction from aspects such as composition, development, classification, characteristics, applicable places, and homemade cases:

Composition: It generally consists of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. These components work together to achieve the basic functions of a mobile toilet.

Development: Initially, mobile toilets were made of materials such as wood, with simple structures and functions, and were prone to absorbing odors. With technological progress, they gradually evolved to use materials such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic and polyethylene. These materials offer better durability, sealing, and odor-proof properties, enhancing the overall quality of mobile toilets.

Classification:

  • By structural form: They can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure toilets are relatively simple and independent, while composite-structure toilets may be composed of multiple parts and have more complex and diverse functions.
  • By mobility method: There are lifting and handling mobile toilets, as well as powered and towed mobile toilets. Different mobility methods are suitable for different scenarios and transportation conditions.
  • By sewage treatment method: They are classified into flush and non-flush suction-type mobile toilets, circulating flush-type mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. Flush-type toilets offer better cleaning effects but require a water source; non-flush suction-type and dry-packing toilets are more water-efficient and suitable for water-scarce areas; circulating flush-type toilets can achieve water resource recycling.

Characteristics: They can be conveniently transported to any place where a toilet needs to be installed and can be used repeatedly. They have the advantages of mobility, combinability, and ease of transportation, enabling them to flexibly meet various temporary or fixed toilet needs.

Applicable places: They are suitable for stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets, providing convenient toilet conditions for people's activities in these places.

Homemade cases: There are also cases where individuals have made movable toilets using materials such as buckets. For example, someone installed universal wheels on a wooden board as a base, placed a cut bucket on it, and after a series of processing steps, installed a toilet and a showerhead to create a relatively well-functioning mobile toilet.
