Mobile Public Toilet Water Treatment

Admin October 11, 2026

The water treatment methods for mobile public toilets mainly include circulating water flushing, foam sealing + microfiltration combination, water flushing and waterless flushing suction types, microbial degradation, and other technical types.

Circulating Water Flushing Type: This technology employs intermittent aerobic and anaerobic treatment units to specifically treat fecal sewage. After adding biological strains, it utilizes biofilm technology to accelerate the decomposition of organic matter, effectively removing pollutants from the sewage. The treated water meets the standards for recycling and can be reused for toilet flushing, achieving the recycling of water resources and reducing dependence on external water sources.

Foam Sealing + Microfiltration Combination: Foam liquid covers the surface of excreta through surface tension, forming a sealed layer that not only reduces odor diffusion but also decreases the amount of flushing water, with only 0.2 liters required per flush. The used liquid undergoes three-stage filtration treatment: first, large particulate impurities are removed through sedimentation; then, activated carbon adsorption further purifies the water quality, removing odors and organic matter; finally, ultraviolet disinfection kills bacteria and viruses. The treated water is reused for flushing, with a recycling rate of over 95%, significantly improving water resource utilization efficiency.

Water Flushing and Waterless Flushing Suction Types: The water flushing type discharges sewage into municipal sewer networks or septic tanks through pipelines and must comply with relevant national standards (such as CJJ14-2016) to ensure smooth and environmentally friendly sewage discharge. The waterless flushing suction type uses vacuum sewage suction devices to collect excreta without the need for water flushing, making it suitable for water-scarce areas or temporary venues, reducing water consumption and sewage discharge.

Microbial Degradation Type: Some equipment decomposes the organic matter in feces into carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of minerals in a closed environment by adding specific microbial communities. This technology achieves “zero discharge” without the need for external sewage discharge, reducing environmental pollution and is suitable for ecologically sensitive areas or venues with high environmental protection requirements.

In addition, intelligent water-saving ecological and environmentally friendly toilets can achieve a flushing effect of approximately 0.46 liters of water per person by automatically collecting urine and hand-washing water and adding water-saving special agents, further reducing water consumption.
