Mobile Public Toilet Materials

Admin October 07, 2026

Common materials for mobile public toilets include four main categories: color-coated steel plates, stainless steel, FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic), and wood materials. Additionally, special materials such as metal embossed panels and aluminum-plastic panels can be selected based on specific needs.

Color-coated steel plates are composed of color-coated steel sheets combined with foam, rock wool, or other core materials. They are lightweight, easy to install, and relatively inexpensive. Their frames are welded from national standard steel, and the surfaces are covered with corrosion-resistant and fire-resistant materials like color-coated steel plates, offering a service life of over 20 years. This material is suitable for temporary venues such as event sites and construction sites, enabling rapid construction and meeting basic usage requirements.

Stainless steel is renowned for its high strength, corrosion resistance, and durability, with a modern and simple appearance that meets the demands of places with high hygiene and aesthetic standards. Public spaces such as parks, squares, and scenic areas often use stainless steel mobile toilets, which can withstand natural environmental erosion, harmonize with the surrounding landscape, and have low long-term maintenance costs.

FRP (fiberglass-reinforced plastic) is made from glass fibers and synthetic resins, combining the advantages of being lightweight, strong, corrosion-resistant, and aging-resistant. Its strong moldability allows for the design of various shapes, making it suitable for outdoor venues with complex environments such as tourist attractions and beaches. Early mobile toilets often used wood, which was gradually replaced by more durable materials like FRP. However, wood is still a preferred choice for complex terrains.

Wood materials typically use preservative-treated wood, whose natural and warm texture can deeply integrate with the environments of parks, resorts, and beautiful villages. Preservative treatment technology extends the service life of the wood while retaining its natural grain, making it suitable for scenarios pursuing ecological aesthetics. However, regular maintenance is required to prevent decay.

In addition to the above mainstream materials, the exterior walls of mobile environmental protection public toilets can also be selected from materials such as metal embossed panels and aluminum-plastic panels based on customer needs or environmental characteristics. Metal embossed panels achieve decorative effects through surface embossing processes, while aluminum-plastic panels stand out for their lightweight and fire-resistant properties. Both are suitable for projects with special architectural appearance requirements, further expanding the design possibilities of mobile toilets.
