Mobile Outdoor Portable Toilet

Admin September 22, 2026

A mobile outdoor portable toilet is a facility that can be moved as a whole to provide toilet services for the public and customers. It is introduced from the aspects of applicable places, composition structure, classification methods, and practical cases as follows:

Applicable places: Mobile outdoor portable toilets are suitable for a variety of places, including stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential areas, large construction sites, squares, as well as densely populated public places and bustling commercial streets. These places usually have a large flow of people, a high demand for toilet facilities, and may not be able to build fixed toilets due to space constraints or temporary needs. Mobile outdoor portable toilets can well meet these needs.

Composition structure: It is generally composed of a fecal sewage storage tank (or fecal sewage treatment device), floor slab, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tank, roof, and mobile device. These components work together to ensure the normal use and mobility of the toilet. For example, the fecal sewage storage tank is used to collect and treat fecal sewage, the sanitary ware provides a comfortable toilet environment, and the mobile device enables the toilet to be easily moved from one place to another.

Classification methods:

  • By structural form: It can be divided into single-structure mobile toilets and composite-structure mobile toilets. Single-structure mobile toilets are usually relatively simple and suitable for places with limited space or temporary needs; composite-structure mobile toilets are more complex and may contain multiple functional areas, suitable for places with higher requirements for toilet facilities.
  • By moving method: It can be divided into hoisting and handling mobile toilets and powered and towed mobile toilets. Hoisting and handling mobile toilets usually require external equipment for movement and are suitable for large or heavy toilets; powered and towed mobile toilets have autonomous mobility and are more flexible and convenient.
  • By sewage treatment method: It can be divided into water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction mobile toilets, circulating water-flushing mobile toilets, and dry-packing mobile toilets. These classification methods reflect different technologies and methods for sewage treatment in toilets.

Practical cases: There is a customized toilet in a scenic spot that covers an area of less than 6 square meters and adopts a layout of three single rooms; there is also a four-squat-position toilet that is 4 meters long, 2.3 meters wide, with a pointed roof. The exterior walls are made of metal carved panels for thermal insulation. The men's toilet has two squat positions, a urinal, and a basin.
