Mobile Environmental Toilet Storage Design
The storage design of mobile environmental toilets focuses on efficient space utilization, achieving flexible deployment through modularization and portability, primarily encompassing two approaches: foldable structures and portable designs.

Foldable structures represent a core innovation in the storage design of mobile environmental toilets. They utilize lightweight modular frames, enabling the entire structure to be folded via hinges or detachable connectors. In the stored state, the height or width of the toilet can be compressed to one-third of that of traditional fixed toilets. For example, some models fold to a thickness of less than 30 centimeters, significantly reducing transportation and storage space requirements. When deployed, they quickly regain full functionality through rapid assembly mechanisms (such as snap-on fixtures or hydraulic supports). Internally, they are equipped with standard squat or sit toilets, ventilation systems, and splash guards to ensure comfort and hygiene. This design is particularly suitable for temporary events, disaster relief scenarios, enabling rapid deployment and minimizing space occupation.
Portable designs, on the other hand, focus on individual use scenarios, characterized by ultra-lightweight and highly integrated features. A typical example is the leaf-shaped portable toilet, whose main body is made of biodegradable environmental materials (such as corn starch-based plastics), weighing less than 1 kilogram. Folded, it measures approximately 12×28 centimeters with a thickness of only 3-5 centimeters, easily fitting into a backpack or a woman's handbag. It incorporates super-absorbent agents (such as polymer water-absorbent resins) inside, capable of absorbing about 500 milliliters of liquid in a single use and solidifying it into a gel-like substance, preventing leakage risks. The bottom features illustrated usage instructions, requiring no additional tools or water sources, making operation simple. Some models also come with detachable odor-proof bags, which can be sealed and discarded after use, further simplifying the cleaning process. Such designs are suitable for outdoor sports, long-distance travel, or areas without infrastructure, meeting immediate toilet needs.
Both designs maximize storage efficiency through structural optimization and material innovation while considering environmental friendliness and user experience. Foldable structures emphasize flexibility for large-scale applications, whereas portable designs highlight convenience for individual use, jointly driving mobile environmental toilets towards greater efficiency and practicality.
