Making Mobile Toilet Model Structure in 3D Max
Admin October 10, 2026
The following steps can be followed to create a mobile toilet model structure in 3D Max:

Basic Structure Construction
Create a cube as the overall framework of the mobile toilet. Use the move mode and right-click zeroing operation to precisely determine its position. For the convenience of subsequent operations, separate the walls and the floor. Add a Shell modifier to the walls to increase their thickness, making them more in line with the actual structure.
Specific Component Creation
- Toilet Bowl: First, create a rectangle and convert it into an editable spline. Select the points and add fillets to make the shape more natural. Then, add a Shell modifier. Scale the selected points, chamfer and smooth the selected edges, and use the mirror function. Adjust the size and connect the edges. Finally, select the faces for beveling and extrusion to complete the creation of the toilet bowl model.
- Bathtub and Related Components: Select the [FX Toolbar] in the command panel. Draw a plane in the top view as the base of the bathtub, edit it into a cloth, and set the relevant physical properties. Draw lines along the bathtub, set all selected points as corner points, perform contour and extrusion operations, convert it into an editable polygon, and then add an [FFD444] modifier to adjust the shape to match the appearance of the bathtub.
- Pipes and Handles: Draw a cylinder, adjust its direction through rotation operations, convert it into an editable polygon, select faces for insertion and extrusion, and then perform scaling and chamfering operations to create pipes and hot water handles.
- Glass: Draw a cuboid in the left view. Copy it to create two pieces of glass.
- Other Components: When creating components such as washbasin cabinets, draw a cuboid in the top view, convert it into an editable polygon, perform chamfering and horizontal line connection operations, and then add modifiers such as [Volume Select], [Wave], and [Displacement] to adjust the effects. When creating window walls, draw a rectangle along the window in the front view, convert it into a spline, perform contour and extrusion operations, and then convert it into an editable mesh for adjustment.
Material and Lighting Settings
- Materials: Select the wall. In the [M] Material Editor, select [V-Ray Rendering]. Add a bitmap for diffuse reflection and choose a colored tile texture map. Adjust parameters such as reflection and bump according to the actual effect. Select a [V-Ray Material Ball] to set the material parameters of water to make the model more realistic.
- Lights: Isolate the window wall, select a [V-Ray Light] of the plane type, draw lights along the window, and set the color and multiplier. Check the option to make the window invisible. Isolate the mirror and the washbasin cabinet, place lights on the mirror and below the cabinet, and adjust the parameters to create appropriate light and shadow effects.
