Male Portable Toilet Installation
The installation of male portable toilets should follow a standardized process, covering pre-installation preparation, on-site installation, acceptance and delivery, and safety regulations. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-installation Preparation
- Site Survey and Planning: Confirm the installation location in advance, avoiding low-lying areas prone to water accumulation, high-voltage lines, and obstacle-prone areas. Measure the site dimensions to ensure the width of the access passage is ≥1.2 meters and reserve operating space.
- Material Inventory and Inspection: After arrival, check the quantity, model, and accessories of the portable toilets (such as sinks, flushing devices, sewage pipes, etc.). Inspect the equipment for any external damage and ensure internal facilities are intact to avoid delays in installation due to missing materials.
- Tool and Personnel Preparation: Equip with tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and spirit levels, and arrange 2-3 professional installers. If the toilet body is heavy, coordinate with lifting equipment such as cranes to assist with handling and ensure construction efficiency.
II. On-site Installation Steps
- Foundation Fixing: Lift the toilet body to the designated position and use a spirit level to adjust the equipment for stability, with a deviation not exceeding 3mm. Fix the equipment with expansion bolts or counterweights to prevent tipping (especially pay attention to wind protection measures in areas with strong winds).
- Water and Electricity Connection and Debugging: Connect the sewage pipe to the nearest sewer or designated sewage collection tank, ensuring the pipe slope is ≥2% to avoid water accumulation. Connect to the water source (it is recommended to use a water pipe ≥DN20), test the flushing function and drainage sealing to ensure no leakage.
- Detail Inspection and Cleaning: Install accessories such as door curtains and anti-slip mats, and check if the door locks and flush buttons are flexible. Clean and disinfect the interior, place air fresheners and toilet paper, etc., to enhance the user experience.
III. Post-installation Acceptance and Delivery
- Function Test Checklist: Conduct a flushing test (press the flush button 3 times continuously to ensure smooth drainage without blockage) and a load-bearing test (evenly step on the top of the equipment to check structural stability) to confirm the equipment is operating normally.
- Delivery Document Confirmation: Provide the customer with an 'Equipment Installation Acceptance Certificate', indicating the installation date, warranty period, and usage instructions, and clarify the responsibilities of both parties.
IV. Precautions and Safety Regulations
- Installation Safety Requirements: Wear safety harnesses during high-altitude work and prohibit installation in windy (≥Level 5) weather. Keep away from fire sources and prohibit smoking or using open flame equipment inside the toilet to prevent fire risks.
- Construction Site Management: Demarcate the construction area and set up warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from approaching. Ensure adequate lighting for night construction and install reflective strips to enhance visibility, ensuring construction safety.
In addition, portable toilets come in various types. According to their structural form, they can be divided into single-unit or composite structures. According to their mobility, they can be divided into lifting or powered towing types. According to their sewage treatment method, they can be divided into water flush, waterless flush suction, or circulating water flush types. The appropriate type should be selected based on actual needs during installation.
