Luzhou Mobile Toilet Precise Prevention and Control

Admin October 12, 2026

In terms of precise prevention and control, Luzhou mobile toilets mainly focus on environmental protection and safety standards, covering six core requirements: anti-seepage and waterproofing, pollutant discharge compliance, fire prevention and electrical safety, land planning compliance, site anti-seepage, and piping system requirements.

1. Anti-Seepage and Waterproofing Requirements
The overall waterproofing grade of the mobile toilet box must meet the IP65 standard to ensure no seepage risk during heavy rain or flushing scenarios. The floor adopts a multi-layer waterproofing process, and a 48-hour closed water test must be conducted after construction to confirm no leakage before it can be put into use. The sewage storage tank or septic tank must have anti-corrosion and anti-seepage properties, and the materials must comply with HJ 2029-2013 'Technical Specification for Anti-Corrosion and Anti-Seepage in Environmental Engineering' to prevent corrosion of the tank or soil pollution during long-term storage of fecal matter.

2. Pollutant Discharge Compliance
Depending on the usage scenario, discharge standards are divided into three categories:

  • Connected to municipal sewer networks: Comply with the GB 8978-1996 'Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard' Class III standard, primarily controlling indicators such as chemical oxygen demand (COD) and ammonia nitrogen;
  • On-site reuse without sewer networks: Must meet the GB 18918-2002 'Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plants' Class I A standard to ensure the reused water can be used for landscaping or flushing;
  • Zero-discharge scenarios: Fecal matter must meet the GB 7959-2012 'Hygienic Requirements for Harmless Treatment of Night Soil', achieving harmlessness through high-temperature composting or chemical treatment. Additionally, odor emissions must comply with the GB 14554-1993 'Emission Standard for Odor Pollutants' Class II standard, with indoor ammonia concentration ≤ 0.3mg/m³ to avoid health impacts on users.

3. Fire Prevention and Electrical Safety
The enclosure structure adopts Class A non-combustible rock wool sandwich panels with a fire resistance limit of ≥1 hour, effectively blocking the spread of fire. Electrical wiring must be laid through metal conduits, and distribution boxes must be equipped with leakage protection devices to prevent electric shock accidents caused by moisture or short circuits. Each box must be mandatorily equipped with ≥2 4kg ABC dry powder fire extinguishers and independent smoke detectors to ensure timely response in the early stages of a fire.

4. Land and Planning Compliance
Site selection must avoid sensitive areas such as basic farmland, ecological protection red lines, and river control zones. Temporary land use requires approval procedures, with a general usage period not exceeding 2 years. Placement within urban areas must comply with municipal appearance management regulations, avoiding occupation of fire lanes or impact on public transportation.

5. Site Anti-Seepage Requirements
The placement ground must be hardened and laid with an anti-seepage layer, with a permeability coefficient ≤ 10⁻⁷cm/s (equivalent to the anti-seepage performance of clay) to prevent fecal matter seepage from polluting soil and groundwater. Anti-seepage layer materials can include high-density polyethylene (HDPE) film or concrete with waterproof coatings.

6. Piping System Requirements
Water supply and drainage piping must have anti-corrosion, anti-condensation, and anti-leakage properties, with interface sealing grades ≥ IP67 (short-term immersion allowed). The piping must be equipped with anti-backflow devices (such as check valves) and water seal odor prevention devices, with a water seal depth ≥ 50mm to prevent sewage backflow or odor escape.
