Luliang Prefabricated Houses
The situation of prefabricated houses in Luliang involves multiple aspects such as policies, renovations, modular construction, and mobile home production.

Policy Aspect
Currently, regarding the news that "prefabricated slab buildings in Shanxi will be completely demolished within five years," the Luliang Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau has not yet received any related notifications. If there is definitive information, it will be announced promptly. This indicates that there is currently no unified and clear policy arrangement for the demolition of prefabricated slab buildings in the Luliang area, and residents do not need to worry unnecessarily due to this rumor.
Old Residential Area Renovation Aspect
In Lishi District, Luliang City, there are some prefabricated brick-concrete structure buildings constructed in the early 1990s. Due to their age, some of these buildings have experienced issues such as changes in the main structure, floor slab fractures, and problems with water and electricity. One of these buildings was demolished during urban construction in 2021, and another was identified as a dangerous building upon completion and was included in the scope of old residential area renovations in 2023. The renovation work covers exterior wall insulation, roof waterproofing, public area water supply and drainage pipelines, heating pipelines, aging high-voltage electrical lines, replacement of corridor doors and windows, organization of weak electrical lines, and ground hardening, among others. However, parts of the property under individual ownership are not included in the renovation scope.
Modular Construction Aspect
In recent years, container houses have emerged in the Luliang area, representing the application of modular construction technology. These buildings are based on standardized steel structure units. The structural elements, insulation layers, electrical circuits, and even some interior decorations are prefabricated in the factory. They are then transported to the site for rapid assembly and fixation. The steel structure main body has a high recycling rate and performs well in terms of thermal insulation, airtightness, and energy efficiency, with relatively little impact on the site's ecology.
Mobile Home Production Aspect
Qihong Integrated Housing Co., Ltd. conducts the processing and production of prefabricated temporary mobile homes in Xiaoyi City, Luliang. Its K-type mobile homes are eco-friendly and economical prefabricated structures. They can be spatially combined according to customer needs using standard modules, employing a lightweight steel structure as the framework system and sandwich wall panels and tiles for the enclosure and roofing systems. The products feature tight sealing, thermal insulation, waterproofing, fire resistance, moisture resistance, earthquake and wind resistance, among other characteristics. They can be disassembled or recycled more than five times, with an effective service life of 10 years or more. They can serve as long-term and temporary residences, worker accommodations, offices, workshops, warehouses, etc. Internally, they can be equipped with floors, ceilings, water systems, electrical circuits, bathrooms, etc., and are easy to install.
