Langfang Mobile Toilets

Admin September 21, 2026

Mobile toilets in Langfang mainly include waterless mobile toilets and upgraded versions of street-side mobile public toilets.

Waterless Mobile Toilets: Due to the dense concentration of transportation hubs and industrial new towns in Langfang, there is a significant demand for waterless mobile toilets. Their core advantages lie in flexibility and environmental friendliness: The equipment adopts a modular design, allowing for rapid assembly like 'building blocks', making it suitable for narrow spaces such as station squares and temporary bus terminals. Without the need for a plumbing system, they use vacuum suction technology to seal odors, with a single unit's capacity sufficient for 300 uses per day. In terms of manufacturing processes, Langfang factories have introduced German fully automatic rotational molding production lines to produce large-sized boxes with uniform wall thickness. They have also independently developed a 'quick-locking mechanism' for easy on-site component replacement. In terms of eco-friendly production, scrap materials are 100% recycled and repurposed, and the factories have obtained green certifications. For high-standard scenarios, customized versions with built-in air conditioning, voice announcements, air quality detection, and other functions are available. In terms of operational services, an innovative 'shared public toilet' model has been introduced. Users can locate and reserve nearby toilets through a WeChat mini-program, which supports QR code entry and intelligent billing (a small maintenance fee is charged after free periods). The backend analyzes usage heat maps through big data to dynamically adjust the number of units in areas such as Beijing-Tianjin expressway service areas and university towns.

Upgrading of Street-Side Mobile Public Toilets: To address the aging of original facilities, Langfang has focused on repairing and replacing sensor-flushing equipment, squatting platforms, and squatting position fittings. Anti-slip and easy-to-clean floor tiles have been uniformly laid to eliminate the risk of water accumulation on the ground. The sensor-based flushing has been changed to foot-pedal valves to reduce failure rates and optimize the user experience. The renovation work is being carried out in batches, with some areas already upgraded and the remaining 10-plus locations expected to be fully completed by mid-June, achieving a dual improvement in toilet facilities and safety.

These two types of mobile toilets collectively reflect Langfang's innovative practices in the field of public sanitation facilities: the waterless type focuses on flexible deployment and environmental technology, while the street-side renovation focuses on the intelligence and safety optimization of existing facilities, forming a comprehensive solution covering both temporary and fixed areas.
