Kunming Mobile Toilet Renovation Process
Admin October 02, 2026
The renovation process of mobile toilets in Kunming can be divided into three stages: pre-construction preparation, main structure installation, and detail handling and finishing. The specific steps are as follows:

I. Pre-construction Preparation
- Site Survey: Evaluate the ground type (cement, asphalt, or soil), flatness, and load-bearing capacity. Confirm the locations and parameters of water supply, drainage, and power connection points. Consider wind direction (to avoid odor diffusion), accessibility, and local regulations (such as the need for approval). For example, in rainy areas like Kunming, special attention should be paid to checking the drainage slope to prevent water accumulation.
- Foundation Treatment: Choose a plan based on ground conditions. For hard surfaces (such as cement), clean and fix the base with expansion bolts; for soil, excavate shallow pits and lay gravel or pour a concrete cushion; for soft ground (such as backfilled soil), use steel plates to distribute the load and prevent settlement. In high-altitude areas (such as some parts of Kunming), consider the foundation bearing capacity and reinforce if necessary.
- Material Preparation: Include mobile toilet compartments, septic tanks, pipes (PVC/PE drainage pipes, water supply hoses), sealants, fasteners, etc., as well as tools such as level gauges and electric drills. Materials should be moisture-proof, waterproof, and easy to clean, and toilet fixtures should meet hygiene standards.
II. Main Structure Installation
- Frame Assembly: After fixing the base, sequentially connect the wall panels (right, left, and front) and tighten them with screws to ensure stability; install the upper slot to support the roof cover and reserve ventilation louvers (in rainy areas like Kunming, strengthen ventilation design to prevent moisture).
- Equipment Installation: Connect sanitary equipment such as toilets, water tanks, sewage pipes, and sinks to ensure full functionality. If an electrical system (such as lighting or electric heating) is required, install and debug it according to the design drawings, paying attention to moisture-proof treatment (such as wire sleeves).
III. Detail Handling and Finishing
- Sealing and Reinforcement: Check the sealing of connections between components (such as pipe joints and wall gaps), tighten all bolts and nuts to prevent loosening; clean the inside and outside of the toilet to remove construction residues.
- Quality Inspection: Test structural stability (such as shaking tests), water tightness (such as pipe joint sealing), and electrical equipment operation (such as lighting and sockets) to ensure safety and reliability.
- Daily Maintenance Tips: Although not part of the renovation process, regularly check the foundation stability (such as soil ground settlement), clean toilet fixtures, and replace consumables (such as sealants) to extend service life. For temporary soft ground, regularly check whether steel plates or pads have shifted.
Notes: In Kunming's rainy climate, strengthen drainage and moisture-proof design, consider foundation bearing capacity in high-altitude areas, and choose materials that adapt to temperature variations.
