Karamay Prefabricated Housing Finished Products

Admin September 19, 2026

The prefabricated housing finished products in Karamay mainly include two forms: packing-box units and prefabricated panel houses, with the following specific features:

Packing-box units adopt factory-prefabricated standardized box modules, achieving efficient transportation and rapid assembly through a 'packing' design. Their core advantages lie in shortening the construction period, as modular production reduces on-site work time; reducing environmental impact, as factory production lowers dust and noise pollution; and possessing mobility and reusability, allowing relocation or disassembly and reassembly according to needs. The service chain covers the entire process from demand communication, solution customization, production and manufacturing, transportation and installation, to post-maintenance, making them suitable for emergency projects and temporary offices.

Prefabricated panel houses are produced with standardized designs in factories for main components and quickly assembled on-site, suitable for temporary or short-term accommodation needs. Their structural types are divided into three categories:

  1. Container-type prefabricated houses: Using standard containers as units, space is expanded through combination. The container body is made of corrugated steel plates, and insulation layers and facilities can be installed inside to enhance living comfort, commonly used in construction site dormitories and field exploration scenarios.
  2. Panel-type assembled houses: Assembled on-site from prefabricated wall panels and roof panels, the wall panels adopt sandwich panel structures (such as polystyrene or rock wool sandwich panels), allowing layout adjustments according to the site, offering high flexibility, suitable for temporary shops and exhibition venues.
  3. Frame-type prefabricated houses: With light steel frames bearing the load and installed with enclosure panels (such as color steel plates), they have complete interior space and stable structure, with better wind and earthquake resistance than the previous two types, suitable for long-term temporary housing or post-disaster reconstruction.

In terms of material selection, the main structure uses Q235 steel with anti-rust treatment to ensure structural durability; the enclosure material selects color steel plate sandwich panels, balancing strength and thermal insulation performance; the roofing material uses sandwich panels or single-layer profiled steel plates with insulation layers according to needs, meeting usage requirements under different climatic conditions. For example, rock wool sandwich panels can be selected in cold regions to enhance insulation, while moisture-proof and corrosion-resistant treatments are emphasized in hot and humid regions.

Both types of prefabricated houses improve efficiency through industrial production, but packing-box units emphasize modularity and mobility, while prefabricated panel houses focus on flexible assembly and cost optimization. Users can make a comprehensive choice based on the project cycle, usage scenario, and budget.
