Creative Mobile Toilets in Jing'an District
The creatively designed mobile toilets in Jing'an District are represented by the 'Yi Series' public toilets, including 'Pengjiang Yi', 'Yuewei Yi', and 'Lexiang Yi'. These toilets showcase innovative practices in the construction and governance of public spaces in terms of functionality, design, and services.

'Pengjiang Yi' is based on the concept of 'guarding together in the same boat', emphasizing environmental protection and age-friendly design. Its roof uses a solar photovoltaic system to achieve 100% self-sufficiency in electricity supply throughout the year, demonstrating the application of green energy. Externally, it features an open corridor lounge area equipped with imitation wood-grain benches and charging ports, providing convenience for citizens. Internally, the slope of the ramp for the disabled has been optimized, and wooden age-friendly handrails have been installed. The third restroom is equipped with an infant care board, safety handrails, a parent-child toilet, and high-low washbasins to meet the needs of different groups. In addition, touchless devices such as sensor faucets and automatic toilets are used, along with a one-touch call device in the restroom and a fall prevention monitoring system to enhance safety. The newly added friendly station is equipped with air conditioning, a microwave oven, a first-aid kit, and a free reading bookshelf, further enriching the service functions.
'Yuewei Yi' is positioned in combination with the fitness function of the Yuedong Garden, focusing on the transmission of health concepts. Its log-colored facade creates a 'forest cabin' feel, and the exterior is decorated with sports icons to convey a healthy lifestyle. After the restroom door is locked, light white noise is automatically played to enhance the user experience. The shelf has a built-in gravity sensor that provides real-time voice reminders when items are left behind to prevent loss. The third restroom uses sensor-activated doors, smart toilets, sensor soap dispensers, and other devices to achieve 'zero-contact' operation throughout the process. A data monitoring platform is set up to monitor foot traffic, temperature and humidity, and ammonia concentration in real-time to ensure a comfortable environment. The widened restroom spaces are all equipped with safety assistance handrails, and the third restroom is exclusively configured with an infant seat, a constant-temperature infant care table, a parent-child toilet, and high-low washbasins to meet family needs.
'Lexiang Yi' focuses on integration with the natural environment. Its exterior facade is covered with a large area of vertical greenery, seamlessly connecting with the ecological environment of the Yin Garden through three-dimensional greenery. It uses stainless steel mirror materials to reflect the surrounding green plant landscape, creating a natural atmosphere. Internally, inspired by the 'rhythm of musical notes', it is equipped with a 'staff' -shaped ceiling. Independent natural sound effect systems are set up in the washing area and the restroom area, along with volume adjustment buttons and a mute mode to enhance the user experience. The originally narrow entrance passage has been widened, and a cantilevered canopy has been added for the convenience of citizens.
