Specific Case
Take the old prefabricated block houses built in the 1980s at Xihu Road (formerly Chengjian Road No. 8), Linchuan District, Fuzhou City as an example. These houses are the dormitories of the District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau and underwent old community renovation in 2020. After renovation, the living conditions of the houses have been improved, and currently, there are no demolition plans. This shows that even if a house is an old prefabricated block house built in the 1980s, as long as it can meet living safety and usage requirements after renovation, it may not necessarily be demolished.
Principles of House Expropriation and Compensation
The expropriation and compensation of houses on state-owned land in Jiangxi Province follow the principles of democratic decision-making, proper procedures, fair compensation, and open results. The people's governments of cities with districts and counties (cities and districts) are responsible for the expropriation and compensation of houses within their respective administrative regions.
