Jiangmen Container House Size Diagram
Jiangmen container houses come in a variety of sizes, with common specifications including 3m×3m, 3m×6m, 3m×7m, etc. Custom sizes are also supported, with specific dimensions varying by manufacturer and purpose.

I. Common Standard Sizes
3m×3m: With an area of 9 square meters, it is suitable for scenarios with small space requirements, such as temporary storage rooms or small tool sheds. Due to its small size, attention should be paid to material utilization during production to avoid waste.
3m×6m: With an area of 18 square meters, it is the most common standard size on the market, widely used in construction sites, road construction, and other scenarios. This size has an internal net height of approximately 2.6 meters and can accommodate a double bed, a simple desk, and a standing wardrobe, making efficient use of space and facilitating lifting and transportation.
3m×7m: With an area of 21 square meters, it is mostly used for two-story container mobile homes, equipped with corridors and balconies, suitable as temporary offices or living spaces.
II. International Standard Sizes
Container house sizes also refer to international standard container specifications:
20-foot container: External dimensions are 5898mm (length) × 2352mm (width) × 2390mm (height), with an internal volume of approximately 33 cubic meters and a load-bearing capacity of up to 25 tons.
40-foot container: External dimensions are 12024mm (length) × 2352mm (width) × 2390mm (height), with an internal volume of approximately 67 cubic meters and a load-bearing capacity of up to 45 tons.
40-foot high cube container: With an internal volume of 13.58m (length) × 2.34m (width) × 2.68m (height), the gross weight for cargo is generally 29 tons, with a volume of 86 cubic meters.
III. Custom Sizes
Some manufacturers offer customization services and can adjust sizes according to customer needs. For example, Jiangmen Baoteng Mobile Housing Co., Ltd. uses standardized components for its houses, with length and width based on a modulus of 1k (1k=1820mm). The horizontal dimension is mk+160, and the longitudinal dimension is nk+160, supporting flexible combinations. In addition, duplex container houses can achieve larger spaces through splicing, such as three 40-foot containers spliced together to form dimensions of 11.8m×6.75m×2.8m, with a usable area of 80 square meters.
