Jiang'an District Park Portable Toilets

Jiang'an District has implemented multiple measures for portable toilets in parks and popular tourist attractions, including adding more toilets, improving signage, ensuring comprehensive facilities, standardizing operation and maintenance management, and offering portable toilet rentals.

Adding Portable Toilets: To address the toilet shortage caused by a surge in tourists during holidays, the sanitation department of Jiang'an District has added portable toilets in key tourist gathering areas. For example, as the May Day holiday approached, 30 portable toilets were installed in the courtyard at 27 Li Huangpi Road. This year, plans are in place to add more in areas such as Bagong House and Li Huangpi Road during the May Day holiday to meet tourists' toilet needs.

Improving Signage Facilities: To enable tourists to find and use toilets quickly and conveniently, Jiang'an District has improved toilet guidance signs and maps along major tourist routes such as Yanjiang Avenue and Lanling Road. The newly added toilet signs and maps clearly indicate the specific locations and walking distances of various public toilets, achieving full coverage of toilet guidance across the area and greatly facilitating tourists.

Comprehensive Facilities in Portable Toilets: The deployed portable toilets are equipped with comprehensive convenience facilities. Each toilet stall is equipped with foot-flush toilets, coat hooks, safety handrails, and other facilities, and free toilet paper and hand sanitizer are provided, enhancing tourists' toilet experience.

Standardized Operation and Maintenance Management: Jiang'an District has formulated a standardized operation and maintenance plan covering the entire process. During holidays, full-time cleaning staff are arranged to be responsible for the sanitation, facility maintenance, and order guidance of portable toilets throughout the process. All toilet stalls are flushed and disinfected every two hours in a cyclic manner, and an uninterrupted inspection system with two shifts is established to ensure prompt response and handling in case of facility failures or sanitation issues.

Renting Portable Toilets Nearby: Portable toilets feature advanced technology and are suitable for use in temporary gatherings, construction sites, or protected areas like Jiang'an. Their rental services typically include regular waste removal and cleaning. The waste removal vehicles are equipped with vacuum sewage suction systems, and the cleaning frequency is generally no less than once a day, ensuring the hygiene and convenience of toilet use.
