Insulated Glass Container House
Insulated glass container houses mainly achieve thermal insulation through the use of special glass, composite wall structures, and high-efficiency insulation materials.

Glass Section: Typically, hollow tempered glass is used. The hollow structure effectively reduces heat conduction because the air layer between the two layers of glass provides good thermal insulation, significantly reducing the exchange of heat between the interior and exterior, thereby maintaining a relatively stable indoor temperature. Moreover, tempered glass has high strength and safety, capable of withstanding a certain amount of external impact without easily breaking. Even if it does break, it does not form sharp fragments, reducing the risk of injury to humans.
Wall Structure: A composite sandwich panel structure is often employed. This structure is generally composed of multiple materials, each playing a different role. For example, in Apple Pod container houses, the wall panels use galvanized color-coated steel sheets combined with insulation materials such as rock wool, glass wool, or polyurethane. Rock wool, glass wool, and polyurethane are all high-quality insulation materials with low thermal conductivity, effectively preventing heat transfer, reducing the loss of indoor heat and the entry of outdoor heat, and improving the thermal insulation performance of the house.
Other Insulation Measures: In extreme climatic conditions, additional insulation methods are adopted. For products targeting Hokkaido, Japan, which faces extreme low temperatures of minus 20°C, a high-density polyurethane insulation layer is sprayed throughout the house, combined with a dual heating system of underfloor heating and air conditioning, along with heat pump auxiliary heating technology. This multi-layer insulation system achieves a comprehensive heat transfer coefficient of K value ≤ 0.28 W/㎡·K, meeting ultra-low energy consumption building standards. The container houses used in the Nagoya Asian Games also featured wooden interiors and triple-layer insulated glass to ensure thermal insulation performance. These measures further enhance the thermal insulation effect of the house, enabling it to maintain a comfortable indoor temperature under various harsh weather conditions.
