How to Install Color Steel Mobile Toilets
The installation of color steel mobile toilets should follow a standardized process, with specific steps outlined as follows:

1. Foundation Treatment
Select the foundation type based on geological conditions: For sandy soil areas, use a combination of concrete base and ground anchors; for permafrost zones, deepen the foundation depth. The ground must meet the following criteria:
- Levelness Error: Less than 5 millimeters to ensure stable installation of the toilet unit;
- Surface Compaction: Sufficient to bear the pressure of the support frame and prevent settlement;
- Drainage Slope: Set up a simple slope around the perimeter to prevent water accumulation.
2. Material Preparation and Modular Assembly
The color steel mobile toilet consists of four independent units: wall panels, roof frame, base support, and internal sanitary fixtures, all of which have undergone standardized processing before leaving the factory. The installation sequence is from bottom to top:
- Base Support: Unfold and level it to ensure stable contact with the foundation;
- Wall Panel Installation: Insert into the support slots, ensuring alignment of bolt holes and positioning slots;
- Roof Frame: Install last to form a closed structure.
3. Structural Connection
- Wall Panel and Roof Panel Connection: Use dedicated aluminum profiles or steel structural inserts, with sealant applied at joints for waterproofing and structural reinforcement;
- Bolt Fixation: All connection points should use galvanized bolts, tightened evenly to avoid local deformation of the color steel panels.
4. Water and Electrical System Installation
- Piping System:
- Sewage, ventilation, and water supply pipes are factory-prefabricated modules for quick plug-in connection on-site (blue for water supply, black for sewage);
- Sewage pipes should maintain a 0.5% downward slope to ensure smooth drainage.
- Electrical System:
- Lighting uses a 12-volt low-voltage waterproof LED system with sealed push-button switches;
- Exhaust fans are installed at the roof's highest point to create a chimney effect;
- Wires are fixed in flame-retardant corrugated pipes, with joints in waterproof boxes and a leakage protection device installed at the power access point.
5. Internal Facility Fixation
- Sanitary Fixture Installation: The base should be rigidly connected to the toilet unit to prevent shaking;
- Partition Panels: Fixation points should avoid weak areas of the color steel panels and be anchored to the internal framework;
- Ventilation Equipment: Seal and waterproof the exhaust pipe penetration through the wall, optimizing air circulation paths.
6. On-Site Construction Adjustment and Testing
- Level Calibration: After hoisting the toilet unit, use a level gauge for multi-directional detection and make fine adjustments with shims or bolts;
- Systematic Testing: Includes water pressure testing (to check pipe sealability), power-on testing (to verify circuit safety), and closed-water testing (to confirm waterproofing effectiveness).
7. Secondary Sealing and Insulation Testing
- Perform secondary sealing treatment on joints and openings;
- Use an infrared thermometer to detect insulation continuity, ensuring no thermal bridge defects.
By following these steps, you can ensure that the installation of color steel mobile toilets is standardized and functional, meeting usage requirements.
