Portable toilets generally consist of fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and mobile devices. They offer numerous advantages. Portability is their core characteristic, enabling them to be flexibly arranged according to the needs of different venues. Whether it's a temporary event site or an area requiring additional restroom facilities on a temporary basis, they can be quickly put into use. Combinability also provides convenience for their application. Multiple portable toilets can be combined according to the actual number of people and usage requirements to form restroom areas of different scales. Ease of transportation ensures that they can be swiftly removed from the site after the event, restoring the venue to its original state.

Arrangement of Portable Toilets at Concert Venues

At large-scale events such as concerts, the rental and placement of portable toilets are usually the responsibility of the organizers. However, the rationality of their placement directly affects the audience's experience. For example, at the G.E.M. Deng Ziqi World Tour Concert in Taizhou, dozens of portable toilets were placed near the seating area in the indoor venue, but the placement was unreasonable. As a result, a strong odor could be smelled from the seating area, and in hot weather, the mixture of sweat and various odors made the environment stuffy and smelly, leading to a poor audience experience. Previously, netizens also complained about the strong odor of portable toilets at G.E.M. Deng Ziqi's concerts in Qingdao and Shanghai. Nevertheless, different venue designs lead to different placement locations for portable toilets. For instance, at the 2024 Joker Xue Tour Concert in Qujing, 50 independent portable toilets were set up in front of the LED screen on the inner side of the venue. At the 2023 Mayday concert in Shanghai, multiple portable restrooms were installed in the VIP audience area and beside the stage control console. These reasonable arrangements ensured an adequate number and proper distribution, enhancing the audience's restroom experience.
