Indoor Portable Toilet

Admin September 20, 2026

Indoor portable toilets mainly fall into two categories: indoor portable commodes and generalized portable toilets. Here is a detailed introduction:

Indoor Portable Commodes

Indoor portable commodes are primarily suitable for indoor settings such as beside the bed in a bedroom, providing convenience for people to use the toilet at night, especially for the elderly and those with mobility issues. These commodes are designed with the users' needs in mind and have many practical features. For example, some movable commodes have a super-strong load-bearing capacity to meet the needs of people of different weights. Their commode buckets are designed to be relatively deep, effectively preventing the splashing of excrement. They are also equipped with handles and lids. The handles make it easy for users to move and clean the commode buckets, while the lids can close the buckets when not in use, reducing the emission of odors and keeping the indoor air fresh. These indoor portable commodes are relatively small in size, do not take up much space, and can be flexibly placed in suitable locations such as beside the bed in a bedroom, providing great convenience for people with mobility issues to use the toilet at night and improving their self-care ability and quality of life.

Generalized Portable Toilets

Generalized portable toilets are facilities that can be moved as a whole. They are usually set up at locations or venues with fixed or temporary needs to provide toilet services for the public and customers. They are suitable for a variety of places such as stations, docks, tourist attractions, villa areas, newly built residential communities, large construction sites, squares, densely populated public places, and bustling commercial streets. Their composition is relatively complex, generally including fecal sewage storage tanks (or fecal sewage treatment devices), floor slabs, sanitary ware, walls, washing equipment, water tanks, roofs, and moving devices. In terms of structural form, they can be divided into single-structure portable toilets and composite-structure portable toilets. According to the moving method, there are hoisting and handling portable toilets, as well as powered and trailer-mounted portable toilets. From the perspective of sewage treatment methods, there are water-flushing and non-water-flushing suction portable toilets, circulating water-flushing portable toilets, and dry-packing portable toilets. Different types can be selected and configured according to specific usage scenarios and needs.
