Indoor Mobile Toilet Renovation Plan

Admin October 09, 2026

The renovation plan for indoor mobile toilets (toilets) should be selected based on the drainage type, displacement distance, and construction conditions. Common methods and key points are as follows:

1. Displacement Device Method
Suitable for small-scale and short-distance displacement (10-30 cm, not exceeding 40 cm), especially for inter-floor drainage with a displacement distance of ≤2 meters. During construction, a slope of 1%-3% should be reserved to ensure smooth drainage and avoid reduced flushing effectiveness or increased risk of blockage due to insufficient slope. This method involves minimal modification and low cost, but it should be noted that excessive displacement distance may affect the user experience.

2. Ground Elevation Method
Achieve larger-distance displacement (such as converting floor drainage to wall drainage) by elevating the ground. This requires building a false wall and can incorporate niche design to increase storage space. This method is suitable for scenarios without strict restrictions on ground height, but it requires accepting the reality of elevated ground and ensuring a smooth connection with the surrounding area after elevation to avoid water accumulation or tripping hazards.

3. Convert Floor Drainage to Wall Drainage
Connect the toilet directly to the sewage riser, with displacement limited to the adjacent wall of the riser. After modification, this method results in a shorter drainage path and is less prone to blockage, suitable for both same-floor and inter-floor drainage. Construction requires re-laying pipelines, which involves a large workload. It is necessary to plan water and electricity lines in advance and ensure proper waterproofing.

4. Directly Lengthen or Shorten Pipelines
Only applicable to sunken bathrooms (same-floor drainage), as the floor level is lower, allowing direct adjustment of pipeline length for displacement. During construction, care should be taken to protect the floor structure, avoid damaging the waterproof layer, and ensure tight pipeline connections to prevent leakage.

5. Modify Sewage Pipes in Neighbor's Home
Negotiate to modify the sewage pipe of the downstairs neighbor to the target position. This method is simple but depends on the neighbor's consent and compliance with property management regulations. This plan carries a higher risk and may lead to neighborhood disputes, so it is recommended as a last resort.

6. Renovate Using Existing Floor Drainage Toilet Hole
After confirming the new position, connect the original floor drainage outlet to the wall drainage position through precise drawing. During trenching construction, care should be taken to avoid damaging the floor reinforcement. This method does not require a displacement device, but strict control of construction accuracy is necessary to prevent damage to the floor structure.

7. Renovate Drainage Using Main Pipeline
During water and electricity construction, cut the bathroom's main pipeline and reconnect it using a tee to connect the wall-mounted toilet tank to the main pipeline. Attention should be paid to waterproofing at the connections between pipelines of different materials to avoid leakage due to improper construction.

8. Use Special Toilet Displacement Flat Pipes
No need to elevate the ground and less prone to blockage, but construction should be carried out according to product instructions to ensure the installation angle and slope meet requirements. This method is suitable for scenarios sensitive to ground height and requiring aesthetic appeal.
