How to Remove Mobile Toilet Partition
Admin October 08, 2026
The removal of mobile toilet partitions should be carried out according to standardized procedures, with the core steps outlined as follows:

I. Preparation
- Tool Preparation: Select tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, electric drills, hammers, handsaws, or electric saws based on the connection method. If the screws are rusted, rust remover is required; for locating fixed points, a magnetic detector can be used.
- Safety Protection: Wear a dust mask (N95 grade), impact-resistant goggles, and anti-slip gloves to prevent injury from dust or debris.
- Environment Handling: Remove obstacles from the work area, disconnect water pipes, cables, etc., attached to the partition, and cut off the water and power supply to prevent electric shock or water leakage accidents.
II. Locate and Remove Connection Points
- Identify Connection Method:
- Screw Connection: Check both sides and the top of the partition, use a wrench or screwdriver to confirm the screw type (e.g., cross-head, flat-head), and record the positions.
- Fixed Tenon: Examine the junction between the ground or wall and the partition to confirm the tenon type (e.g., rotary, pin-type).
- Removal Operation:
- Screws: Use the corresponding tool to rotate counterclockwise to loosen. For rusted screws, first spray rust remover to soak, then use an impact drill with a cross-head bit or a lithium-ion screwdriver for treatment.
- Tenons: Use pliers or a wrench to rotate the tenon counterclockwise, gradually loosen, and then remove.
III. Systematic Removal Process
- Bottom Fixings: Use a socket wrench to rotate counterclockwise to remove the anchor bolts at the feet, while using a vacuum suction cup to fix the bottom of the partition to prevent tipping.
- Vertical Supports: Remove the vertical reinforcement connectors from bottom to top to avoid structural imbalance.
- Top Connections:
- Use an extended bit to handle high-position self-tapping screws, requiring two people to cooperate to support the weight of the partition before separation.
- If removing from the wall, first drill through the partition holes with an electric drill, clean out the foam filler, then use a hammer to break the frame, and finally use an electric saw to cut into small pieces, which are tied with ropes to prevent falling.
IV. Cleaning and Finalization
- Waste Disposal: Collect the cut partition pieces, foam filler, etc., separately and dispose of them in the trash bin.
- Component Organization: Store the disassembled components in groups according to their installation positions and number them, and clean any residual adhesive from the base surface.
- Environment Restoration: Check if the wall and ground are damaged and repair them if necessary.
V. Precautions
- Avoid Damaging Structures: Handle with care during operation to prevent scratching the wall or ground; inexperienced individuals are advised to contact professionals.
- Dust Control: Keep the exhaust equipment running throughout the process to reduce dust dispersion.
- Hidden Wires and Pipes: If wires or pipes are found inside the wall or ground, immediately stop work and mark the positions.
- Protection of Retained Components: If the partition needs to be reused, wrap and protect the edges and corners after removal.
