How to Operate a Mobile Air Conditioner in the Bathroom
When using a mobile air conditioner in the bathroom, follow these steps and pay attention to the following points:

Drain Pipe Installation and Drainage Operations
- Automatic Drainage: Some mobile air conditioners have an automatic drainage function. After turning on the air conditioner, press the 'Automatic Drainage Button'. When the icon lights up, it means the function is activated, and the device will automatically drain the condensed water. After use, press and hold the button for forced drainage. When the icon flashes, it indicates that drainage is in progress, which can prevent the growth of bacteria from residual water.
- Manual Drainage: First, turn off the power of the mobile air conditioner. Remove the water pipe connected to the drainage port, place the pipe in a drainage sink or washbasin, and open the bottom drainage port to pour out the water. Then, clean the drainage port and the water pipe to ensure smooth drainage and prevent blockages that could affect subsequent use.
Installation and Ventilation Settings
- Exhausting Waste Gas and Hot Air: If the air conditioner is placed in the bathroom, extend the air vent and the waste gas exhaust port to the outside to prevent the backflow of waste gas. The mobile air conditioner needs to expel hot air outdoors through a heat exhaust pipe. The end of the heat exhaust pipe must lead to a window or a door gap, and the pipe should be as smooth and have as few bends as possible. Otherwise, the hot air cannot be expelled, and the cooling effect will be significantly reduced.
- Air Intake and Outlet: The front of the unit is the air outlet, and the rear or side is the air inlet. When in use, leave at least 30 centimeters of clearance around it to avoid being blocked by curtains or furniture. Insufficient air intake can cause the compressor to overheat and even trigger a protective shutdown. You can use the air conditioner's built-in cardboard model or a custom-made acrylic panel to fix the exhaust pipe to ensure stable exhaust. You can also upgrade and purchase magnetic window curtains to assist with installation, reducing air leakage and improving sealing.
Power Supply and Charging Methods
Mobile air conditioners generally have a power range of 1000 - 2000W. It is recommended to use a dedicated socket and avoid sharing a power strip with other high-power appliances to prevent overloading and safety issues. After connecting the main unit to the battery base, you can directly supply power through a household power strip, which is suitable for fixed scenarios. You can also use an 800-watt in-car fast charger inserted into the battery base to charge the device in mobile scenarios.
Basic Operations
After receiving the air conditioner, open the carton, take out the device, and lay it flat to avoid tilting, which could cause the internal components to shift. For some models equipped with a water tank, add water to it to enhance the cooling effect. When adding water, ensure that the water level does not exceed the maximum刻度线 (maximum scale line) to prevent overflow.
