How to Heat Container Houses
Container houses can be heated through methods such as optimizing insulation structures, selecting thermal insulation materials, and installing temperature control equipment.

Optimize Insulation Structures
The insulation performance of container houses directly affects heating efficiency. Exterior wall insulation can utilize materials such as polystyrene boards, polyurethane foam boards, and rock wool boards. These materials have low thermal conductivity and can effectively block heat transfer. For example, using a polyurethane foam layer of over 50mm in the middle layer can block heat conduction. Combined with an outer layer of anti-corrosion color steel plates to reflect sunlight and an inner layer of fire-resistant gypsum boards to control humidity and stabilize temperature, an efficient thermal insulation system is formed. Window and door design should employ double- or triple-glazed windows to reduce thermal conductivity and add sealing strips at the edges to minimize heat leakage. Detail handling is also crucial. The joints of insulation materials should be sealed with sealing materials, and professional construction methods should be used at the junctions of the insulation layer and the container structure to ensure airtightness and structural stability.
Select Thermal Insulation Materials
The choice of thermal insulation materials directly affects the insulation efficiency of the house. Polyurethane foam boards are often used in the middle layer of container houses due to their excellent insulation properties, blocking heat conduction. Rock wool boards not only provide good insulation but also have fire-resistant properties, making them suitable for exterior or interior wall insulation. Silicate wool and foamed polystyrene boards are also common insulation materials that can be selected based on specific needs. Interior wall insulation can adopt closed insulation methods using materials such as rock wool and expanded perlite boards, or spray insulation with materials like plastering, clay walls, and wooden boards to further improve insulation effects.
Install Temperature Control Equipment
On the basis of optimized insulation structures, installing temperature control equipment can significantly enhance heating effects. Air conditioners are common heating devices that can maintain a comfortable environment by regulating indoor temperature. Entrance air curtains can reduce heat loss and are suitable for areas such as lobbies. Graphene floor heating, with its high efficiency, energy-saving properties, and uniform heat emission, is gradually becoming a new choice for heating container houses. Electric heaters and electric radiators are suitable for local heating and can be used flexibly according to actual needs. Automatic temperature control systems can maintain a stable overall indoor temperature, avoiding excessive temperature fluctuations and improving living comfort.
Other Heating Measures
In addition to the above methods, some detail handling can also improve heating performance. Laying warm carpets on the floor can reduce heat loss through the ground. Using thermal insulation boards beside the bed can prevent cold air from directly contacting the body and improve sleep comfort. Optimizing the orientation of the house to fully utilize solar energy can also raise indoor temperature to a certain extent.
