How to Fold a Portable Toilet
The folding method for portable toilets varies depending on the specific type. Here are the folding steps for common types:

Portable Folding Toilet (2026 New Model)
This type of toilet is designed for quick setup and storage, with a focus on the buckle structure for folding operations. Before use, unfold the fixed buckles in sequence to ensure that all components (such as the seat ring and support frame) are locked in place, preventing looseness during use. When folding, locate the buckles marked with colored circles, which are usually found on the side or at the bottom connection points of the toilet. Use your hand to pull out the buckles outward, releasing the support frame from the locked state with the seat ring. Then, press all components inward to complete the folding. After folding, check that the buckles are fully reset to prevent accidental unfolding during transportation.
Simple Outdoor Toilet
This type of toilet often adopts a modular design, with core components including a C-shaped seat ring, detachable legs, and garbage bags. Before folding, first remove the four support legs, usually by rotating or pressing the buckles at the connection points between the legs and the seat ring to separate them. Then, remove the garbage bag fixed to the seat ring to avoid contamination of the internal structure by residues. After completing these steps, fold the C-shaped seat ring in half or rotate it to its minimum volume. The support legs can be tied together or inserted into the reserved holes on the seat ring, ultimately forming a compact storage state. Note that the garbage bag should be disposed of separately and not folded together with the main body of the toilet.
Foldable Mobile Commode
This type of commode relies on the compression of the support frame for folding, requiring simultaneous control of the knob and the support frame movements. First, press the knob on the support frame, which is usually located at the connection points or the bottom of the frame. Pressing it releases the locking mechanism of the frame. While keeping the knob pressed, compress the support frame inward with both hands, causing each section of the frame to contract sequentially. When the support frame is fully compressed to its shortest length, the overall height of the commode decreases, and the seat ring fits closely with the frame. At this point, you can release the knob and adjust the positions of all components to ensure a stable structure after folding. After folding, avoid exposing sharp components to prevent scratches.
Precautions: Empty any residues in the toilet before folding to avoid contamination or damage to the components. Follow the instructions in the manual in sequence during operation to prevent forced folding that may cause buckle breakage. For long-term storage, it is recommended to place the folded toilet in a dry and ventilated place to prevent rusting of metal components or aging of plastic components.
