How to Flush a Smart Portable Toilet
The flushing methods of smart portable toilets mainly include automatic flushing, knob operation, remote control operation, and foot-sensing flushing, with the flushing principle based on siphon-related technologies.

Flushing Methods
- Automatic Flushing: When a person sits on the toilet for more than 15 seconds and then leaves, the smart portable toilet will automatically perform a small flush. This design facilitates users, allowing them to complete flushing without manual operation, enhancing convenience and hygiene.
- Knob Operation: Standard smart toilets are equipped with a one-touch knob. In the cleaning mode, a short press of this knob can trigger both flushing and drying functions, enabling one-touch completion of multiple tasks and simplifying the operation process. Moreover, even in the event of a power outage at home, a long press of the knob can activate the flushing function, ensuring normal use under special circumstances.
- Remote Control Operation: Users can operate the flushing of the smart portable toilet via a remote control. However, if the remote control does not respond, a pairing operation is required first to ensure normal communication between the remote control and the toilet, thereby enabling control over flushing and other functions.
- Foot-Sensing Flushing: Some smart portable toilets are equipped with a foot-sensing flushing function. Users only need to sense a specific position with their foot to trigger the flushing operation. This design further increases convenience, especially for users who may have difficulty with manual operations.
Flushing Principle
The flushing principle of smart portable toilets is mainly based on mature technologies such as siphon flushing, jet siphon, or vortex siphon. When the flush button is pressed or automatic flushing is initiated, the water in the tank is rapidly released. Part of the water flows evenly down the inner walls of the toilet, cleaning the ceramic surface and maintaining toilet cleanliness. The other part of the water is ejected at high speed through the bottom jet nozzle, creating a strong siphon effect near the drain outlet. Relying on the powerful suction force formed by the siphon, it can effectively carry away waste, achieving efficient and clean drainage.
